- Duelist
- Prerequisite: Focused Training
- At-Will - Free Action
- Trigger: Your Pokemon with Focused Training hits an untagged foe with an attack
- Effect: The foe becomes tagged, and your Pokemon gains +1 Momentum.
- Mechanic - Momentum
- - If your Pokemon has Momentum, instead of the +1 Bonus from Focused Training, they add their Momentum Value as a Bonus to Accuracy Rolls targeting a Tagged foe.
- - This does not affect Focused Training if it is used as an [Order] (It still grants +1 and only that).
- - At the end of your Pokemon's turn, if they hit their tagged foe with an attack that turn, they gain +1 Momentum (including the first time after just gaining Momentum).
- - If they did not, they lose 1 Momentum.
- - Momentum has a Maximum value of +5. If the Momentum Bonus is ever lowered to 0, the effect ends and your Pokemon is no longer considered to have Momentum.
- - Your Pokemon can only have one foe tagged at a time; if a new foe is tagged, all other Momentum is lost.
- Effective Methods
- Prerequisites: Duelist
- At-Will - Extended Action
- Target: Your Pokemon with at least 2 Tutor Points
- Effect: Your Pokemon loses 2 Tutor Points, and gain your choice of the Exploit or Tolerance Ability. You may only target a Pokemon once with Effective Methods.
- Rolling Gains
- Prerequisites: Effective Methods
- 1 AP - Free Action
- Effect: Effects depend on whether your Pokemon has the Tolerance or Exploit ability;
- - Whenever your Pokemon with Tolerance takes Super-Effective damage from a foe, your Pokemon may lose 1 Momentum against that foe to gain +5 Damage Reduction against that attack.
- - Whenever your Pokemon with Exploit deals Super-Effective damage to a foe, your Pokemon may lose 1 Momentum against that foe to gain a +5 Bonus to their Damage Roll.
- Refocus
- Prerequisites: Duelist
- At-Will - Free Action
- Trigger: Your Pokemon fails a Save Check
- Effect: Your Pokemon loses 1 Momentum, and then makes another Save Check with a bonus equal to their Momentum.
- Tunnel Vision

- Prerequisites: Duelist
- At-Will - Standard Action
- Target: Your Pokemon with Momentum
- Effect: Your Pokemon gains Evasion equal to their Momentum against tagged foes, but gains a -2 penalty to Evasion against all other foes. While under the effects of Tunnel Vision, your Pokemon gains +1 Momentum (And do not lose 1 Momentum at the end of their turn) if they use a Status Move that does not target foes (such as Self-targeting, Ally-targeting, or Field Range Moves).
- Sustain Advantage
- Prerequisites: Tunnel Vision, Expert Focus
- 1 AP - Free Action
- Trigger: Your Pokemon under the effect of Tunnel Vision misses a foe marked with Momentum with a Damaging Attack
- Effect: The triggering attack gains the Smite keyword. Your Pokemon does not gain any Momentum for hitting with this attack (but neither does it lose Momentum at the end of the turn for "missing", of course). Sustain Advantage may be used only once per Scene per Pokemon.
- Victory Time
- Prerequisites: Duelist, Adept Focus
- Special - Free Action
- Trigger: Your Pokemon knocks out a foe marked with Momentum
- Effect: Choose up to two of the following effects, if you pay their associated AP cost;
- 0 AP: You regain +1 AP.
- 1 AP: Your Pokemon gains HP equal to their Momentum Bonus doubled.
- 2 AP: Your Pokemon may select a new target against which to gain Momentum, and may keep their current Momentum Bonus against this new opponent.
