k so the goal is to have the same BASE and then potentially expand upon it, we need to try to be as consistent as possible this has always been the goal and now with all the management changes we've had we need to execute.  I'd like things to be as uniform as possible but with some minor tweaks here and there.  The focus should always be about hiring good administration and keeping the maps up to date / fresh.  Most things are setup as they should be and should require very little changes.  Kyptonik will help make sure the addons are good to go but literally the biggest thing that would help reign in Garry's Mod is consistency.



There's a reason we're slotting people in because admins need coaching and maps can become out of date.  Please focus on this part the most, the technical things will come as well and it will be more than you really thought once you're fully engaged.  I don't want you to run off scared because of being hit with everything all at once so I apologize if the initial push for this wasn't handled the best.  I want all new managers coached and developed and I want you to remember not to get a big head or think you are a god.  I can set you straight pretty fast if that shit starts.  I put my name out there for all of you so please don't let me down and please take this serious, this isn't like anything you thought it was going to be.  There are some pretty high expectations at this moment in GFL as we try to look for more ways to gain donations / supporters.  We want you to weigh in on your opinions and help us move to a better future, but we all have to be on the same page for this to work.



When in doubt take Kyptonik or Cypher's lead on anything, they have good judgement and they are empowered to help you succeed as well.  If they can't resolve an issue they will bring it to me or Roy.  Soja handles all of the extreme server hosting type things so if there is an issue that is greatly impacting the server (DDoS, hacking, some sort of performance problem) please reach out ASAP to one of us so we can bring it up to Soja to validate if there's a server side issue (our hosts are phenomenal btw, we have the best performance servers out there).



All in all it's a great gig but the thing to make sure you are never doing is becoming complacent and bored.  If that ever happens you should step down and go back to being an Admin because this shit isn't for everyone.  If removed from Manager for abuse or something that causes grounds for removal then I will personally make sure you aren't an Admin - don't make us regret this decision.



Also don't let what I am saying scare you we put you forward because we have faith in what you bring to the table and hopefully you can share Roy's vision of the future and be a positive impact.  We are giving you our trust, you were essentially hand selected as we should be doing for our more important roles.



One last thing, I say things to individuals I do not appreciate being repeated in any shape or form.  If Roy asks then that's ok but please don't copy and paste or take what I say and use it in context anywhere I really just don't enjoy that mentality of the internet.  I am a very very private person and I take GFL very seriously but I also do not have the copious amount of hours like you guys do to do the things you are doing in the game - otherwise I still would be.  My role is to make sure you guys have what you need for success and also have some sort of connection to many years worth of experience in the field you are partaking in.
