I saw him grimace and Lunged forward with all my speed—but even though there was only a few meters between us, he lifted his hammer with his mostly transformed arm and swung it hard enough to smash me through a house. I didn’t care and was back on my feet in a fraction of a second, rushing towards him again—
- “Stop, Jaune,” My mother said, rising to her feet only a bit shakily. Even so, I stopped.
