I find their relationship to be quite similar to Ben and Rook’s and Alloy’s curiosity and analytical personality combined with Nicholas’ short temper make them the comedic duo for the ages but overtime they’ve become a great team due to their shared desire to do good even if they don’t see eye to eye sometimes. It helps that they work together as a combined entity in the form of Fusion-X but Duo Merges test their cooperation skills as separate beings that share a bond.
