  1. 100% Post Shift 2 Guide by Yuusaname
  2. (https://gamejolt.com/games/post-shift-2/351173)
  3. thought I'd make this guide to help people figure out how to 100% the game, as well as deal with the animatronics in game in case some people don't know how to.
  4.
  5. IMPORTANT!!!!!
  6. If you want to get 100% GET THE BAD ENDING FIRST. Getting the good ending will prevent you from getting the bad ending due to the requirements not being able to be undone.
  7.
  8. Part A:
  9.
  10. Log 1 introduces Minater Freddy, Minater Foxy, and Revenant Freddy.
  11.
  12. Minater Freddy will spawn in either the cleaning area or the construction area and will play music to announce his arrival. If the music is a lower tone and sounds like a tuba playing, he will be in the cleaning area; if the music is a higher tone then he will be in the construction area. If he is in the cleaning area then you need to go there as fast as you can as there's not much time until he converts himself. You will need to open up the EMM and go to the Report Minater Conversion section to deal with him.
  13. Minater Freddy has 3 stages:
  14. Regular: if he looks like himself, press No, Yes, No, Yes, in that order.
  15. Bunny-eared: if he's still yellow, but has bunny ears, press Yes, Yes, No, Yes, in that order.
  16. Bonnie: if he's taking the form of Revenant Bonnie, just press all yes.
  17. If you take to long to deal with him, a certain chime will play and your EMM will tell you it's too late. Accept death.
  18.
  19. Minater Foxy will appear in either the peekhole at the end of the aisle or the promotional area where Revenant Freddy can also spawn and announces himself with his thumping footsteps. To deal with him you will need to open up the EMM and go to the voice constructor to put up a sentence to get rid of him.
  20. The sentences will either be "2 WILL BE. SHOCKED WITH. IMMEDIATE. EFFECT IF. NO RETURN.", "2, PLEASE. RECONFINE. YOURSELF TO. YOUR SIMULATION." or "2 PLEASE. RETURN. TO TEST. CHAMBER."
  21.
  22. Revenant Freddy will randomly spawn in the promotional area, sitting on the floor and will randomly laugh when he's there. After a while he will move to the left side of the area. When he does, go back to the aisle entrance and send a drone out to him to make him go away. You can NOT make him go away with the drone when he's sitting down.
  23.
  24. Log 2 introduces Minater Baby, Revenant Bonnie, and Revenant Chica.
  25.
  26. Minater Baby appears at the souvenir area and announces herself with a few bangs. She has 2 stages, first of which is her at the left corner of the area, you don't have to deal with her immediately but it's better to do so then and there, unless you have someone else to deal with. Her second stage has her up in your face and requires you to deal with her before she kills you, you can see either of these forms in the EMM under the Emotion State section (yellow = becoming unstable, red = unstable). You will need to run her memories and lock a good one to deal with her. Locking a bad memory will immediately kill you.
  27. .....yeah.
  28. Her good memories are: Her in the room, happy with a cupcake; Balloon Boy on the street with a sign that says fun, and a birthday party. Memory swapping also has random timing so try not to accidentally lock a bad one.
  29.
  30. Revenant Bonnie will announce his game of "One-eye seek" where you have to find him X/5 times. He will be: at the end of the aisle, at the peekhole where Minater Foxy can be, at the Souvenir Area, at the Construction Area, and at the Cleaning Area entrance. You can also toss a drone out for a very slim chance to cancel his lil game.
  31.
  32. Revenant Chica will appear at the construction area when the speaker tells you something about the lights in construction area. You have to go and look at the hole until you see the yellow light to get rid of her with the drone. Looking at the light has her behind you in the aisle, where you can look at her (necessary for a log 3 objective).
  33.
  34. Log 3 introduces Revenant Foxy.
  35.
  36. He will either appear in front of you at the aisle or in the construction area. When he appears right in front of you, use the lights to ward him off, one of the 3 lights will make him go away. He will announce himself when he is in the construction area and can be removed by a drone. You can also go and look at him in the hole, but that just wastes time.
  37.
  38. I'll talk about Home and Seek Mayhem later since that's necessary for the good ending and the 100%.
  39.
  40. Part B:
  41. Each log of Part B is entirely different from each other and Part A. Why? Dunno.
  42.
  43. Log 4 has Minater Freddy, Minater BB, Minater Ballora, Minater Baby, Revenant Puppet, Revenant BB, the Minareenas, and Venta Puppet.
  44.
  45. Regarding the Surrounding Activity and Virtual Discontent:
  46. Surrounding Activity will be 10% throughout the entire night and will increase based on, well, activity. Revenant BB about to kill you will increase it by 5% (amazing, I know.), Venta Puppet arriving will increase it by 5%, and Revenant Puppet appearing will increase it by 25%. Virtual Discontent will increase by 25% per animatronic that needs items.
  47.
  48. Revenant BB will be behind you and will get closer if you don't look at him for a decent while. If he's right close to you, he will kill you in a bit, regardless if you're looking at him or not.
  49.
  50. The main 4 Minaters will need to be dealt with via the simulation and need to be given their respective item that they need. Taking to long to give them what they want will corrupt their virtual icon, rendering you unable to satiate their needs, and have them kill you.
  51.
  52. Revenant Puppet has 3 stages: OBSERVE, MONITOR, AND I AM ABOVE.
  53. He will announce all 3 but only the third one is necessary. When he announces that he is above, click the monitor in front of you several times until it asks you if you want to enable blaring connection; Press Y. You then have to go up and to look at him and get rid of him.
  54.
  55. Venta Puppet will play a music box chime when he arrives and requires you to go up and face him. After a bit he will shove a shadow face in front of you. Keep clicking it until it goes away.
  56.
  57. The Minareenas will appear under the monitor if your activity and discontent gets too high, if they arrive then you have to check up on them once in a while or they will kill you. They also have this annoying constant buzzing playing to let you know they're there. You can't get rid of them.
  58.
  59. Log 5 is a recreation of Post Shift 1, and features the Stage Animatronics.
  60.
  61. IMPORTANT!!!! To open the second monitor which the tutorial doesn't tell you, press Q when the main monitor is open. This is used to deal with foxy when he is aggressive, turning on a special, and starting up orders (which, by the way you don't really have to do during the shift, mainly just at the end, lole).
  62.
  63. The second monitor has 2 specials that can be used, but only one of them can be used per attempt. Second Life will prevent you from getting a game over on a jumpscare, but will knock you back an hour and teleport you to a random area. Silent Mode will knock the attention down to 0 and will keep it that way for 35 seconds.
  64.
  65. Gas leaks will also randomly happen and require you to keep your mask on.
  66.
  67. Stage 1 Freddy will randomly appear in the area in front of you and will laugh to announce himself. When you arrive you have to open your monitor, go to the song databank, and pick the respective song that he's playing to get rid of him. Picking the wrong song will result in him instantly killing you. You can choose the songs in the monitor during the tutorial to help figure out which one is which.
  68.
  69. Stage 2 Foxy will randomly appear in the area to your left and will either need you to play the respective hertz the speaker tells you in the sinewave section of your monitor, or to check the camera on the second monitor and mark him off as missing eyes (button is on the bottom of the screen) if the speaker tells you that he's getting aggressive.
  70.
  71. Stage 3 Chica will randomly appear in the area to your right and will need you to go over and cut the power in the Override Power section of the monitor. She can also ghost which deteriorates your mask if you go to stage 3, mask equipped, while she's ghosting. The monitor has 3 specials with Chica and really only one of them is useful.
  72. Oxygen Removal will prevent Chica from doing anything for 90 seconds but will, well, remove your oxygen, requiring you to have your mask on just about all the time. This can be used in any room and is a must if you have several animatronics on your hands at once.
  73. Temporary Fix will disable Chica entirely BUT has a 25% chance to randomly kill you every hour (only really useful at 6am or if you feel real lucky). Prevent will prevent (lol) Chica from ghosting for 2 minutes but make her more active overall.
  74.
  75. Stage 4 Bonnie will randomly appear in the area behind you and will play his guitar. You will need to select a version OPPOSITE of the one he's playing. If he's playing it normally and you don't hear drums, press WITH DRUMS. If he's playing it normally and you hear drums, press WITHOUT DRUMS. If the audio is glitchy or low tone, then press NORMAL VERSION. You will NEVER need to press LOW VERSION. You can also go up to the stand and place a memory deterrent, preventing bonnie from being active for 30 seconds. You can place it 3 times before it doesn't work anymore.
  76.
  77. Log 6: Featuring everyone and more. This is mouthful.
  78.
  79. Like log 5, the two monitors are available at your stead with the 2 specials being infinite power and silent mode. The former stops the power from going down for 30 seconds and the latter prevents your attention from going up for 35 seconds. Unlike log 5's silent mode, log 6's silent mode does NOT knock the attention down to 0.
  80.
  81. Gas leaks, speaker failure, and suit malfuntions will happen throughout the night and will require you to repair the respective fault with the monitor.
  82.
  83. Stage 05 Golden Freddy will be at his stage throughout the whole log and will need you to go up to his speakers and tinker with it when it asks you to, ignoring it will have him kill you.
  84.
  85. Shadow Freddy will make your screen go purple with a hissing sound that deteriorates your condition and requires you to open the cameras and click the glitched button to make him stop. If you don't deal with it after a while, 05 will kill you.
  86.
  87. Fredmare will only kill you if your power goes out. Make sure to go to the communications center to give yourself some power if you need some. If the speaker remarks about a power failure after doing so, go to terminal 2 and mark it off for power.
  88.
  89. 12-2am: The Stage Animatronics.
  90.
  91. Stage 1 Freddy will randomly appear in the vent walkway view and requires you to open your monitor to the notes section and play all 4 in any order.
  92.
  93. Stage 2 Foxy will randomly appear at the vent view and announce himself by saying "Can you help me?" or "Walk the plank!" You will then need to go to vent view and play a voice telling him that he will be game ended if he doesn't leave.
  94.
  95. Stage 3 Chica will randomly appear at the prototype table and requires you to bring up the Chica plush to make her go away.
  96.
  97. Stage 4 Bonnie will randomly appear at the communications post and requires you to select the RESPECTIVE SONG THAT HE IS PLAYING. Selecting any other will result in death.
  98.
  99. 2-4am: Morning Crew.
  100.
  101. Minater Ballora will appear at the vent view when the speaker tells you that a biowarrant is detected at vent view, you need to go and swap the tracks on the second monitor when her song starts to play in a low tone. Ignoring her or prematurely swapping the track will result in death.
  102.
  103. Minater Baby will appear at the vent view terminal and requires you to open the cameras and select whether or not the memory is positive or not. I'm sure you can figure out which is which, yea?
  104.
  105. Venta Puppet will randomly appear on the cameras and requires you to stare at him until he fully comes into view and swap the camera. Ignoring him will result in him getting up in your face and draining your health until you die. This can be prevented by looking at 05 until Venta Puppet laughs.
  106.
  107. Revenant Puppet will randomly appear on Camera 5 and requires you to move the screen when he gets up and close to it, yadda yadda, ignoring = death.
  108.
  109. Revenant BB will be at the communications post and will block you off from getting more power. His chest will occasionally open up until he kills you. Click it to close it.
  110.
  111. Minater BB will randomly appear underneath the prototype table and plays some music, you will need to go under with him and leave after he does.
  112.
  113. 4-6am: The Revenants.
  114.
  115. Revenant Chica will make her way to the communications post where you will need to show off the plush to get rid of her. You can also stall her for 10 seconds on the cams as she makes her way over.
  116.
  117. Revenant Freddy will appear at the prototype tables playing his music box. You will need to play the notes on the monitor in reverse order several times until the Restart Song button appears in the cameras. When he stops playing the music, press it before he starts it again, as he'll kill you if you restart it too late.
  118.
  119. Revenant Foxy will appear under the prototype table with his garbled static. You will need to go down and open the camera to give him a bad memory to make him go away, which is a bit rude.
  120.
  121. Revenant Bonnie will randomly show up at stage 05 or at the vent view. You will need to go to either and send a drone out via the cameras at the respective area before he kills you.
  122.
  123. The Final Stretch.
  124.
  125. Revenant's End (the amalgam) will appear either at the tool stand at stage 5, vent view, or in the elevator that you can now go up to.
  126. The speaker will tell you if he's at vent view (go to stage 05) or at the elevator. He will randomly appear at the stage. If he is at the vent view, you will need to go there and equip the mask in order from top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, to get rid of him. If he's at the stage, go to vent view and play a voice announcing yourself, which you have to do the same thing as before. If he's at the elevator, you will need to go and open up the elevator, close it, wait 3 seconds, rinse repeat until he's standing up. Leave if he is.
  127.
  128. The emalgabot will appear either at the communications post, and either at or under the prototype table. If he's at the communications post, just don the bonnie mask and he'll leave. If he's AT the table, go onto the cameras, look through for the audio stop button, and keep clicking it until he leaves. If he's UNDER the table, click on the button, go to the cameras, and press the audio button to make him leave.
  129.
  130. As with Log 5, you need to complete the orders by the end of the 200 second countdown and congrats!!!!!!! You just got the bad ending!!!!!!
  131.
  132. The route to the good ending:
  133.
  134. Souvenirs:
  135.
  136. Souvenirs are required to get the good ending and can be found at the souvenir stand in each log. Log 1 has 1, Log 2 has 4, and Log 3 has 1.
  137.
  138. Seek Mayhem:
  139.
  140. Seek Mayhem is a post shift (lol) minigame in Part A that occurs after every log and is needed for the good ending. Afton will chase you throughout the map while you need to shoot (click on) children, and his speed is a bit random as he can catch up to you and even catch you on the ladder down. When you make it to the end you will need to click on the animatronic and then the portal to enter the code that is above him in the respective location. I have NO idea how the teleportation works as I think that it has a 1/3 chance of teleporting you to each area. Log 1 requires you to be in the empty forest with the abandoned car, Log 2 requires you to be in the same forest, but with Afton in the background. Log 3 requires you to be in the fields with the Crafted Remnant.
  141.
  142. Home:
  143.
  144. You will arrive at a home after every Seek Mayhem with random items appearing depending on the log. Log 1 has some photos in the bedroom upstairs to the right, under the chest. Log 2 has a Revenant Chica plush in the bedroom to the left and a drawing in the bathroom sink. There's also a locked compartment that requires the Fredbear plush that can be found at the souvenir stand in Log 2. Log 3 has a Revenant Foxy plush to the left in the bedroom, some more photos under the chest to the right in the bedroom, and a broken tablet in the bathroom tub.
  145. There will also be a Freddy Doll to the right of the bedroom whose nose you can constantly click for a minigame.
  146.
  147. Fun with Freddy 2:
  148.
  149. As is with the first one in the original Post Shift, FwF2 has you in a single room with Nightmare Classic Freddy, and needs to be shocked when he gets close to you. Flashing him reveals where he is and cannot be shocked when the lights are on or he will kill you. He'll also kill you if you ignore him or shock him when he's afar. He will sometimes force you to look down and wait until you see his reflection on the floor to shock him. Just don't do it with the lights on.
  150.
  151. Objectives:
  152.
  153. Every Log has objectives but only the Part A ones are needed for the good ending.
  154. Log 1's objectives are to beat the night with optimal efficiency (deal with repairs as quick as you can), escape Revenant Freddy twice (just deal with him), beat the night with an excess time of under 10 seconds (beating the night at optimal efficiency also works since it doesn't have to be after 6am for this to be done), and deal with Minater Foxy.
  155.
  156. Log 2's objectives are to beat the night with a lacking efficiency (take your time doing repairs, try to send the last drone at 5am), use a drone to deal with Revenant Bonnie (entirely luck based), beat the night after 6am (make sure to start the last repair by at least 5am), and see Revenant Freddy and Minater Foxy at the promotional area (luck based as well, they might not be there at the same time sometimes).
  157.
  158. Log 3's objectives are to beat the night with optimal efficiency, look at Revenant Chica when she's behind you (after looking at the yellow light in the hole, just look behind you at the aisle), use input lag on the monitor for 3 minutes (it's really bad, just suck it up), and use a drone to deal with Revenant Foxy (can sometimes appear at the hole, use a drone when he's there).
  159.
  160. After completing Part A's objectives you can do log 6 AGAIN to get the good ending!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!
  161.
  162. Road to 100%
  163.
  164. After beating the game with both bad and good endings, you also need to do all objectives for Part B.
  165. Log 4's objectives are to beat the night with Revenant BB still at the starting position (good luck), beating the night without messing up on simulation requirement (just don't give em the wrong stuff), escape from Venta Puppet's grasp (just survive), and die to Revenant Puppet at the catwalk.
  166.
  167. Log 5's objectives are to beat the night withOUT:using 2nd life (using silent mode drops attention down to 0, use it wisely), having your condition dropping (don't use the mask at stage 3 when Chica is ghosting), and without Stage 4 Bonnie's deterrent losing its effectiveness (you can only use it 3 times, using it a 4th will cause you to fail this objective). You also have to go to stage 3 when Chica is ghosting.
  168.
  169. Log 6's objectives are to survive without using any specials (they don't really help you as much here really), survive without attention going past 22% (try not to move so much, dealing with the animatronics that are under the prototype table increase attention a decent lot), survive without having more than 10% radiation (some areas with sometimes become irradiated, just don't look that way for long), and survive without going under 80% health (the main concern is Venta Puppet, make sure to deal with him as he drains your health, irradiated areas also decrease health).
  170.
  171. And there you go, you got 10-
  172. Just kidding.
  173.
  174. The real final stretch.
  175.
  176. Post Shift 2 has 3 bonus modes that are necessary for 100%:
  177.
  178. Aggressive Containment is a harder version of Log 4.
  179.
  180. nO2 Log 5 is just Log 5 but without there being any oxygen and being unable to use the tablet with the mask equipped and vice versa. You also can't use Oxygen Removal to deal with Stage 3 Chica, which hurts.
  181.
  182. Half Speed Log 6 is torture. As the name suggests, each hour is twice is long and so is the final countdown (unintended joke). On the bright side, you now have a checkpoint for 2am. Beating this mode gives you the Resolution ending, but DON'T PRESS ANYTHING. Staring at the screen for a while will result in you going to a screen with Nightmare Candy Cadet just there. Fredmare will appear and when he does, CLICK ON HIM. You will then get the last ending (the save considers this an ending).
  183.
  184. Last thoughts:
  185.
  186. This doesn't have anything to do with the guide, just my last thoughts since I probably won't touch the game after having done the 100% speedrun. Post Shift 2 is my favorite fangame but it suffers from difficulty issues and poor balancing. Unfortunately with everyone saying this and making the usual "LOL!!!! LOG 6 LONG TUTORIAL BOOK!!!!", Rjac probably won't ever touch PS2 again and with his announcement of updates via a 3rd party being a year ago, I don't think the game will ever be updated and unfortunately, not getting that Part C he was planning on doing. Hope that Rjac still keeps on making games though as everything else about the game is amazing, especially the soundtrack. But yeah, last thoughts, that's it. ciao
