- Nationalism IS tribalism. With few exceptions, civic identity doesn't overcome more obvious tribalism.
- Tribalism is the reality, civic identity is the lofty goal. People won't SAY they like tribalism because it's "racist." Their behavior says more than what they consciously say.
- This stuff about "inviability" is just a non-sequitur, because we certainly aren't going to see diversity morph into kumbahyah civic identity. That's not a viable goal either. Something will have to give.
- Even if thereis no political pathway to either of these goals. It is what it is.
- But we know which one we see in the real world.
- Tribalism is a reality of human behavior. Some people try to invigorate a particular tribalism which is constantly socially engineered out of the associated people.
- The alternative is to socially engineer it out of everyone else. Which is more likely to succeed?
- Yeah, they're obligated to tolerate goyish minorities under the conventions of basic human rights. But the state maintains ethnic hegemony for the Jewish people. It's intended to be a Jewish state where Jews rule, and Zionists want it to become more Jewish. It's an ethno-state.
