- EVERYONE NEEDS CANONNEER AND ORACLE MASTERED!
- (strictly speaking its perfectly comfortable at 6 oracles but its comfier if everyone has it)
- party comp: 2 warriors, 2 healers (shield healer preferred), 4 ninjas
- the basic idea is to mimic the 6/8 warrior strat, except using oracle invulns in place of holmgangs so that you can bring 4 ninjas who rotate their dokumori. this allows us to aoe pull back to back like warriors normally do, with dokumori's additional drop rate being applied every pull
- this strat requires setup and communication that the full warrior strat normally does not, but will net quite a bit more gold thanks to the 100% dokumori uptime
- HOW TO SETUP
- there are two separate rotations to set up: an oracle invuln rotation, and a ninja dokumori rotation.
- ORACLE INVULN ROTATION:
- this takes the place of the normal warrior holmgang rotation. use signs to number off everyone in the group from 1-8 (if not everyone can oracle, number off the people who can). the tanks can also holmgang, and their holmgangs should be a part of the rotation as well.
- youll want to have one person calling this in chat with macros, which will look like this:
- /p Oracle 1 applying invuln soon! <se.5>
- /p Tank 1 holmgang! <se.5>
- macros like this should be used before pull to indicate who needs to swap to their oracle so they can have it ready to go immediately upon the tanks signal. both tanks should also have macros to signal that they need the invuln, which should look like this:
- /p Apply invuln! <se.5>
- whoevers turn it is to use the invuln should wait for the tanks signal, and apply the invuln immediately after the tank requests it. the tank knows best when they need the invuln, which is why we have them signal it with a macro.
- as long as you arent in combat, you can switch phantom jobs, so remember to not attack the mobs the tank is pulling unless you know youre on the correct phantom job (cannoneer or oracle)
- NINJA DOKUMORI ROTATION:
- with four ninjas, every pull can have a dokumori once the tank gets all the mobs together, but since signs are already being used for the oracle rotation, we'll have to do this a bit differently. my recommendation is to sort your party list so that the ninjas are listed in alphabetical order, and have that be the order of the rotation
- this one also benefits from being called, but since youre ordering based on names, youll have to have someone either make unique macros for the group, or manually type before each pull whos dokumori it is. as an example, if it was my (Kess Gwyn)'s turn to doku, someone would type in chat:
- /p kess doku
- since the oracle rotation and ninja rotation are different, it works best if the people calling for them are separate. in my group, it worked pretty well having one of the tanks call the oracles, and one of the ninjas call the dokumoris
- HOW TO PLAY:
- go to level 28 mobs. warriors take turns pulling them, so that they can always have a decent amount of mit for the pull. when theyre ready to stop pulling more, they either holmgang or use the macro to signal that they need an invuln, and stand still with the mob pack. once the ninja hits the pack with dokumori, everyone starts blasting with their cannoneer abilities until everythings dead. once the pack dies, call next oracle/holmgang, call next ninja, and the other tank starts pulling. loop as many times as you see fit
- this method can net significantly more gold than any other because it combines the speed of the kills in a warrior group with the constant loot bonus from doku, making it firmly the best strat for getting gold quickly

- unnecessarily fragile and complicated, dokumori shares a cd with damnation so just make a 7war cannoneer pf and have ppl swap to nin when it's opposite their turn to doku (i.e. 1st in order dokus on 4th, 2>5, 3>6, 4>7, 5>1, 6>2, 7>3). i might be off by one, i think when i did it i was 4 and doku'd for 7 though. but either way they're both 2min cds so it lines up with some leeway and worst case you can still pull fine without damnation obv (or have one person who can trade off healing duty and the healer is an 8th war/doku for even more leeway).

- this strat doesnt require everyone to have both warrior and ninja at 100, which makes it more accessible to a lot more people
