The issue is you guys dont actually care about race and try to jettison it, heavily marginalize it, or go against good insights it has given. You couch this in rejection of the monomania it has received, but the fact is that it still matters and your attempts to downplay it have been done before without success.

Moreover it is something which can be empirically discussed (and I am skeptical of anything without some level of empiricism to fall back on) and it's a transgressive narrative break.
