I am contacting you at the recommendation of my school(They did not say contact BioWare, instead they said contact a company who is in the midst of beta/gold). I am a Game Software Development student, drawing closer to the
end of my tenure at Devry, and preparing to enter the work force, with hopefully a fantastic game studio. Because one of my aspirations has been to work for BioWare, and I am a Star Wars fan, I thought contacting you would be the most logical choice.

The class I am currently taking is understanding reaching beta, gold, and finally release. While I know that release is still on the horizon for you, and a large scale open beta is farther down the road, I believe taking part in the current phases of beta will help me better understand the level of play testing, and directed, and specific testing that goes in to an early
beta phase title. Being able to apply what I know about the quality assurance process and the importance of ensuring that each function is tested thoroughly and, if a bug is discovered a thorough testing document is created for that bug, I believe would fit me in to your current closed beta testing phase. On top of that, I will be able to better my own knowledge of the field in which I intend to work.

Where the quite tongue of a beta game is concerned, I still hold my security clearance from my time in the service, so I have no problems keeping my 'big mouth shut' to quote a movie I can't remember.

I hope you accept my request, I understand you probably get a thousand of these a day, but I imagine most are for the self-interest and personal goals of simply playing. I do not only wish to play Star Wars, I wish to learn and better myself from Star Wars The Old Republic.
