Beachgate intro

Beachgate, the City of the Sea. Built atop a sprawling dungeon system stretching all the way into a shaft to the Hollow Earth, home of the dwarves and monster races. Sitting on a peacful stretch of coast. Beachgate has become a veritable mecca for people from all walks of life in a world ravaged by mighty beasts. Wizards find the university and all the magical shops they can handle in the Arcane district, with its strange architecture and noneuclidian streets. Clerics can find a shrine to almost any god in the temple district, from Moradin to Mercury to Marduk. The merchant's district is a bustling bazaar of goods from around the world, from the treasures of the eastern desert's sultanates to the runestones of tundra-dwelling cavemen and the magnificent gems of the Hollow Earth. And, at the center of the city, the High Quarter is the envy of aristocrats the world over.

Beachgate is a magnificent city, and it is thanks to its mayor- the blue dragon Volranox. It was through the work of he and the previous mayor, Michael the Haggard, that the was freed over a century ago from the clutches of the man-eating giants that claimed the land. Ever since he started running for office, he's been elected unanimously. It is thanks to the politicians and merchants that this city is so prosperous, but it is thanks to the guards and adventurers that call it home that it is safe. Join us, and hear the tale of the city.
