January started off with a bang. I made it my mission this month to get as
many proof call worth times as I could.

Worth 90 pts with 0 24 fails. Very fun grind which took less time than
expected.

I didn't think the locks were good enough, this put me at +2000 points.

Over the next week I would post a Train Agent 122, S1 SA 151 and 00 151.

Zwonkous would release his Golden Dark app around this time. I would grind
mostly Frigate Agent.

Only wanted a very quick PB; all the RTA sessions got me good at Dam 00. One
hour sess to get a 2s PB.

Insane PB, one of my fav times. I skipped 24 with only two 23 fails prior.
Happened at like 2am with a silent pop off. This inspired me to go for an SA
PB for LBs, and also to try to rack up the proofcall worthy times.

Extremely late in finishing the boring four. Great start, but a few minor
stucks in the library. The chat pop-off got 20 chatters chatting at once,
which doubled my VIP count from 20 to 40. Shout out to Steve.

I found this to be a lot tougher than SA, even though I nearly got a 150
early into the grind. Very challenging level, took me 26 hrs

3am run, not terrible clean, but worth 74 points. I'd put 40 hours into Frig
SA since my previous PB of 106 that I got during league. This level would go
on to be an omega grind.

On the 28th I would post an any% of 23:14, which is my PB to date (22s PB). I
won't play RTAs seriously again after this, although I would try to PB again
over the next few sessions.

Easiest proofcall time I ever achieved. Only took an hour and a half.

I managed to earn eight proofcall worthy times in Jan, and gained a nice 534

Around this time I started learning the route for SMB any%.

I also started doing friendly matchplays with people on the last Sunday of
each month. This month I played against Mysty C and he whooped my ass!

Very slow month. Posted an Archives SA 57 on the 2nd, and a Silo A 110 on the
13th.

20 hours since my last PB, and 100 hours into the grind. I wanted 102 due to
the fact that at that point a 23/102/108 would have been LBs. I would go on
to dupe 103 about 8 times before I PBd again on Frog SA, which wouldn't be
for another 13 months.

This would also be the last time that I post until late April. I would spend
time playing Frig SA, and Bunker 1 for 16 with the new double quick pause
strat, and also Super Mario Bros.

I did not end up getting a run of SMB finished, my goal was sub 5:10 and I
had a run that died at Bowser on 8-4 which would have been a 5:08.

My friendly matchplay this month was against Kreidos, which I won quite
comfortably as I recall.

11th March is when I stopped streaming regularly, I wouldn't start back up
again until August, with a few little streams here and there.

I did start speedrunning The Evil Within this month, and I was able to get a
world record on March 22nd with a time of 2:39:08 on NG+ Survival. This
stands as the current WR today

Signed up to match cup this year. First match was against BK on the 4th
April. I won 9-7

April 7th I went against JD Black. I lost 4-12.

11th April I played WXelever in the loser's bracket. I won 10 - 6

Next match was against Jezz, we played offline due to different time zones.
It went into over time - I won 9-8

The 24 skip, was super happy about this. Really fun level. I seem to recall
Birdie getting a 23 skip earlier in the month, which inspired me to play.

On the 29th April I was doing some IGT RTAs for practise, and I managed to PB
on Silo A by two seconds (108).

2nd May I played against DSX. Another match that went into over time. I won
9-8.

9th May I played against qwerty. I lost 12-4.
I was very pleased with how far I got during this cup. I ranked joint 7th
place with JD black out of 29 players.

Finally earned points on this map after trying for a year when league started
in 2020. Warm up session for frig. Still my current PB. Worth 26 pts when
achieved, only worth 8 now lol.
