  5. Character Name: Balaur Fear, the Starblazer
  6. Age: 2000
  7. Character's Race: Lizardman
  8. Place of Birth: Noroi Mlashtina
  9. Political Stance: Neutral
  10. Occupation: Ancient Evil
  11. Weapons: Sabya Rayuuli
  12. Weapon Description: Made of glimmering bronze, Sabya Rayuuli is a razor-sharp scimitar made of bronze. It's ancient, but other than being an incredibly well-made weapon, it's not that special.
  13. Weapon Drawback: It's made of bronze. It won't be cutting much other than flesh and bone.
  14. Powers: Balaur Fear is a competent sorcerer, focusing on spells that alter terrain and conditions in the area. At night, he can also enter a transformative state, brought on by exposure to the light of certain constellations. While he can't cast spells due to his new muscle mass, his physical prowess is amplified twentyfold. His most terrifying trait, however, is the prophecy that predated his birth: "The Starblazer shall never be slain by nature's course or by one bathed by the full moon's glow."
  15. Power Drawbacks: The transformation is as traumatizing and painful to undergo as it is to witness, leaving Balaur momentarily stunned. On top of being unable to cast spells and being only slightly faster than a regular human's sprint, Starblazer's immortality is subject to a prophecy- and prophecies always have loopholes.

  17. Brief/Lengthy Description of Character: Long ago, in the home of the lizardmen, a wondrous thing came to pass. The moon-worshiping savages received numerous oracles foretelling the birth of the king who would unite their scattered tribes, and bring their civilization to greatness. Many spent years awaiting the promised day, hoping to meet a great warrior or philosopher. Instead, they got Balaur Fear. Foul-mouthed and foul-tempered, he was quick to set out and use his self-taught magic to make a name for himself as a brigand.

  19. However, prophecies aren't easily escaped. Balaur Fear's bandits became a terrifying force, an army greater than any the lizardmen could muster. In time, they did indeed have to unite their peoples... in order to stand against his forces. It was after this pitche battle that Balaur Fear staggered into the desert, defeated and wounded. The new kingdom's celebration was short-lived, however. The elderly oracle that had confirmed Balaur Fear as the prophesied king made another prediction.

  23. She was correct. Balaur Fear returned, again, and was defeated. This continued every full moon for an entire year, before something awful happened. No one is quite sure- the city of Noroi Mlashtina lies in devastated ruins, and the lizardmen regard it as a cursed place that should never pass the tongue of a moon-fearing individual.
