KH2 TOURNAMENT INFO

Seeds lock 30th April at Midnight EST. 1st seed plays last seed, 2nd seed plays 2nd to last stream, etc etc.
Tournament begins 1st May at Midnight EST.

ONE WEEK is allowed per round. This means that Round 1 should be completed before Midnight on the 8th of May.
If someone is unable to play in one week due to something unavoidable such as going on holiday, tell your opponent and then tell me and we may be able to work something out.

Understand that i'm going to be as strict as possible on these deadlines to make sure that this tournament continues swiftly and finishes without people losing too much interest!

Obviously the deadline for round 2 will be the 15th May, the deadline for round 3 being the 22nd May, etc etc.

IF you are in the middle of your match-up at Midnight EST, I'm not going to disqualify both of you for that... I will be reasonable

If a match wasn't played before the deadline and one player was way more inactive than the other -
i'm going to be giving the loss to the least active player if this needs to be done.
With that being said, i'm sure that everyone will be able to play 1 race a week with relative ease,
even including timezone conflicts.

To get in touch with your opponent, messaging them on Twitter is probably going to be your best option.
There is a Discord lobby for the Tournament also, if you're not in it - DM me on twitter.
I'm sure everyone in the tournament will easily be able to contact their opponent - but if you're unable

SOFTLOCKS

I did a poll on twitter asking people what they thought about softlocks and how they should be dealt
with in the tournament. The most popular option was that all softlocks should result in a restart to the
match.

The softlocks in question are the Bag Minigame softlock where Roxas is humping a sack during 7 Wonders,
The Pre-Axel II fight where a dusk does a continuous cartwheel into the wall ,
and the Peter Pan softlock in Halloween Town 2 during present collection.

Please, for the love of Biz do not Softlock on Prison Keeper. This only happens if you press triangle to
use RC to get inside him or something - and there is no reason to do this as it's slow anyway sooo
DON'T. Okay? Good, glad we got that cleared up.

Having said all this: If both players agree that a reset is not neccessary and BOTH of them decide on a
victor for the match after a softlock has occurred, that decision will stand.
