Background: Born and raised in Pallet Town with a handful of other kids his age, Red was always quiet. He was much more likely to follow someone else rather than stake out on his own. He wasn't a trouble maker, but trouble tended to find him. He, at the time, found it easier to go with the flow rather than stake his own claim on something. After all, it wasn't his fault that he gravitated towards people that liked to make noise.
The exception to his rule of independence was Pokemon. Ever since he was young, Red wanted to train Pokemon at any cost. So, when he turned eleven, he stuck out alone on a journey to climb to the top. He weaved around the region with a quiet determination, until pushed through Team Rocket, the Elite Four, and even his old friend.

Red was, at the time, the youngest Regional Champion in the world. Of course, this lead to media attention- it wasn't every day that a child took the throne. The requirement to stay on the Indigo Plateau to maintain his title of Champion mixed with the sudden lack of privacy that eventually drove Red away. He lasted two months before he went into hiding in the Sevii Islands, then retreated to the summit of Mt. Silver, where he stayed for three years. A loss to a trainer from Johto seemed to relax him, at the least, he came down from the mountain and started anew not long after he met that trainer from Johto. Quietly, he plowed through the gyms of Johto and retook his throne as Champion. The time on Mt. Silver seemed to change him, however- the once quiet Red fell entirely silent save for the occasional, soft conversation. He refuses to speak with the press, or answer any questions about himself.

Red threw himself into Pokemon and floated throughout the rest of the world, visiting regions and other professors to see what they had to offer. By now, he didn't have very much to prove as a trainer, Most of his competitive endeavors are at the behest of the Indigo League, though he can't help but find himself still pushing himself to be better. Why would he stop when he was so far ahead, after all? At present, he's wandering from region to region, partially to meet other trainers, and partially to see just how strong they make them in other regions.

Extra Info:
    - He can understand (and mostly speak) every language in the Pokemon World- Though, his Kalosian and his Sinnohan aren't perfect.
    - He's selectively mute. He speaks very eloquently in the context of a battle, and can issue orders to any teammates that he might have, but he won't speak in any other circumstance.
    - His Pikachu is very fat. It also wears his very first baseball cap
    - He will take any chance to walk around without real clothes on (like pajama pants with flames on the side)
    - He's autistic!
    - His Pokedex is his cell phone, because I said so.
    - He has a lot of emotional barriers preventing him from doing the whole romance thing. If it will make anybody pay attention to him, he avoids it entirely.
    - He has a very dynamic battle style that changes a lot on the fly. He's very much a tactician! He's got a slow start, but once he's going, watch out!
