Lincoln loud: pokemon trainer

Lincoln sighed, so it was finally the day. He had missed the league registration last year due to a series of mishaps with his many siblings. But this year he would deffinately make it!

He grabbed his pokeballs, one of which carried a trapinch, bred by his best friend's fathers just for the sake of being his first.

The fact that said best friend would be tagging along just sweetened the deal.
Lincoln went to meet with clyde, who carried on his his person, a belt of pokeballs, one labelled with a magnemite sticker.

"Lincoln!" Clyde gran to his best friend. "I'm so psyched for this! I get to impress lori with my skills as a trainer!" The boy jumped up and down in excitement. Having a crush on lincoln's older sister.who happened to replace the previous gym leader in kanto

Even Lincoln, ever the one to try and spare feelings , felt clyde was being more than a little dumb here "uh, buddy? Is it really that impressive if your pokemon has a type advantage against hers?" He asked at least trying to be gentle about letting down his friend's hopes. Qnd it seems to have worked

"I guess you have a point. I'll just bench shockzby once we get to her gym then" clyde replies with a thought ul brow raised. As the two heard a familiar, slightly obnoxious laugh from not far,

"You two lame-os thinkyou can take the championship? Puh-lease." The two turn shocked to see, ronnie anne santiago, carrying aLotad in her arms.

Lincoln gave a welcome smile "Ronnie anne? What are you doing back in kanto?" He asked , running to meet her.

The tough girl shugged with a smug smirk. "My mom and our family had to move here, money issues and all that. it was cheapest to just rent a place over here in pewter city, anyway... If you two think you're getting to the championship first you got another thing coming."

Lincoln smirked in response "you're on!" Ronnie smiled and playfully punched lincoln's arm

"Then i guess we're rivals then, i should get going, i have to challenge the gym here."" Ronnie waved skating off. Leaving lincoln and clyde in the dust
