  an ambivert. though his bubbly self is mostly seen when he's home with his family, he's still pretty talkative with his friends. it's just that he usually sets up a wall when he meets new people. he never speaks if his friends aren't around so it's hard to break down his shell.

  can be pretty petty. if you decided to annoy him, do know that hell's coming to you. unless you're deemed as 'fine' or 'innocent' ( which means you didn't do it on purpose ), he'll pay you back even worse than what you did to him.

  the type to cry when a fictional character dies, eunju's just a sweet boy that loves every breathing thing. from taking care of flowers to babying his pets, niece and nephews - eunju just has a soft spot for them. can be classified as a tsundere as he doesn't like showing his emotions outside of his home.

  over-protective and very defensive. that's just how he is. accuse of him something that he didn't do? too defensive that it may seem suspicious. when it comes to his stuff, he rarely shares it with anyone - not even his family members or best friends.

BACKGROUND ;
― CHEWING GUM.
  he was born in seoul, south korea. he has two older brothers when he was born. upon reaching the age of one, his family and him moved to japan - his father's home country. when he reached the age of three, his little sister was born. as a young lad, he was very bubbly - greeting others with a bright smile. throughout his childhood, he had always been the curious type - always wanting to try new things. his family would shower him with praises. that's how he got the feeling of wanting to please others. because of this, he often tried more and more, to the point of troubling himself.

when he was in elementary, the boy made tons of friends almost instantly. he was what most dreamed of having a friend like - understanding, bubbly and supportive. because of this, they took advantage of him though the boy himself didn't realize it. once, his parents met his 'friends' and immediately questioned, "are you sure they're your friends?" to which the boy ecstatically said yes. the boy was often bossed around at school.
  he didn't mind it but the teachers slowly grew worried upon realizing what was happening. they even talked things out with his parents. in the end, they concluded that after his elementary years had ended - they should move back to korea instead. and move they did. the boy was devastated. even his schoolmates were, though for a whole different reason.

  ah yes, middle school. just when his parents thought he wouldn't be used anymore, everything started turning hellish for the boy. the kids there were even worse. he had to move two more times to different schools in the area they were living because many had broken his trust.

like a flower, his once beautiful color was gone once it's stem was plucked with no hesitation. the boy was now a lonely, withered flower.

around this time, he has slowly gone more quiet. he was more vulnerable and was always showing his emotions like an opened book. because of this, he was suggested to go meet a professional but instantly declined it. he threw a fit every time someone mentions about it. while being on his second last year of middle school, a prank happened. a prank that scarred him for a long time. because of this, he only had one friend he could rely on.

when high school came rolling in, he immediately became the school's loner - not that he minded. his friend, doyeon, was the only one who stayed with him. doyeon knew which people to mingle with and he was glad his group of friends understood eunju's situation, sometimes letting the boy join them if he wished to do so.

― RIDIN'.

   when he finishes high school, he told his family about wanting to move out. they were supportive of the idea, not minding that the boy wanted to step out of his comfort zone. in fact, they wanted the boy to try new things without them acting like worried hens. and so, he did. he moved into a comfy apartment just for him. he works near a supermarket as a way to pay off the rent and finds himself liking the idea of being alone.

with all the crazy and stupid things that had happened to him in the past, he felt refreshed - in a way.

 while also keeping up with his classes and work, the boy had two tattoos. when asked why he wanted it, he simply says 'why not?' which was a change to his usual demeanor. doyeon was definitely impressed and even gushed over how 'his baby is growing up now!' feeling like a better version of himself eunju decided to make friends again. and friends he did make. a few had clicked with him instantly while others were slowly warming up to him. some stayed by his side and some left him - leaving him disappointed. but even so, he gives himself new chances every time he meets someone new.

OO1 ― ❝WHY DOES HE HAVE TRUST ISSUES?❞
  it first started in middle school, the night of halloween. a 'dear' friend of his knew how much the boy feared clowns and decided to prank him. that night, the school had a halloween party and his comrade thought to bring the whole friend group into his idea. only one was opposed by it and instantly left while others didn't mind him and continued on with their prank. it was supposed to be harmless, just a little fright. what they didn't know was that he had asthma. so when the prank commenced, they had him locked up inside an empty classroom with the clown. no matter how many times he pleaded to be let out, no one came and opened. because of it, the boy had an asthma attack. thankfully, the one friend came rushing in - unlocking the door to help the poor boy.

after this incident, he immediately shut out everyone except one. the hurt he felt was inflicted deeply into his heart. the friends were baffled by his actions - not even an ounce of guilt were found in their hearts. they soon started hating him, giving him glares and would scare him at times.

OO2 ― ❝WHAT DID HIS 'FRIENDS' DO TO HIM?❞
  the first one being the cruel incident. after the halloween incident, the so-called 'friends' quickly changed their behavior towards him. at first they ignored him. it was around the time were rumors were spread quickly about how extreme the group was and everyone should avoid them. they didn't know about the rumor at first but when they realized what happened - they confronted eunju and tried to scare the boy again. only this time, eun-ju bolted away from them. so when he sees them, even from afar, he would run away.

OO3 ― ❝WHAT HAPPENS WHEN HE GETS TOO CLOSE TO SOMEONE?❞
   at first, he'd get shy. rather than his blunt and calm demeanor, he gets slightly more intimate ( playing with their fingers or giving them a reassuring pat ) and more flustered. he'd slowly open up even more and start talking about his dreams and ramble on his imaginations and shower thoughts he had. soon, he gets clingy towards them and feel more comfortable around them to the point where there's anything to filter him. he shows his real self.

OO4 ― ❝HOW MANY CLOSE FRIENDS DOES HE HAVE? WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?❞

   -- he was the friend who never left his side since high school. he reads eunju like an open book, he knows the boy's habits and behavior to the t. doyeon is bubbly and blunt, knowing no boundaries to make eunju comfortable. he sees eunju as if he was his little brother. he currently majors in psychology at a nearby college - just a few minutes away from eunju's.
   TWO ,, ( @yu.n_gh ) yoo jaehyun - 요재현. '99 liner.
   -- someone whom he had gotten close through college classes. both of them are in the same major. he is the most affectionate person eunju has ever met. jaehyun is very out-going but also quite sensitive. eunju would often call him a big puppy for his antics. jaehyun sorta recharges eunju. he makes eunju feel lest exhausted.

   -- both of them share the same birthday, not only that but they're the same-aged. eunmi feels like an older sister he never had. he feels comfortable with her the most. eunmi currently majors in business, which suits the girl well. she's the type of girl who has eyes set on her goal, never faltering.

OO5 ― ❝WHY DOES HE HATE HIMSELF FOR GETTING TOO CLOSE TO SOMEONE?❞
   because most them had left him in despair. most of them had fought with eun-ju and decided to 'give him space', when in reality they left him behind. though they didn't do anything to make his life a living hell, he feels lonely. he doesn't like being alone. he prefers having someone's presence to comfort him.
