you'll be in the center of the arena after moving from your unsafe position and after that you could  get to literally any spot on the arena and get to your spread spot so it's an arbitrary assignment sure and we have collectively started doing M H R in the back, likely because the mechanic reminded them of DSR and that was the same mostly arbitrarily assigned positions they used back then
no reason to argue because no spot is better than the other :x
