✿ PERSONALITY
         Akimi Eita is the epitome of charismatic and rambunctious. He's loud and lacks a filter on his mouth, which does not help the fact that he's a social butterfly. He seems to be constantly yelling given he literally has no inside voice. He has no clue what the word "quiet" means and his name is probably under the definition of loud. He speaks his mind without thinking of the consequences beforehand but he is quick to apologize if he offended anyone. He is constantly joking around and is always that one person who randomly says something totally unrelated to the topic at hand. He is easily fired up and can be very hard to handle. He has way too much energy for a 6-foot-tall, 20-year-old. Sadly, he has something that works at a great disadvantage to his energy levels and height: clumsiness. Eita is very, VERY clumsy and is always bumping into inanimate objects as well as people. There's always a random bruise somewhere on his limbs from where he bumped into something or someone, whether it be knowingly or not. Given he's always talking to someone about something, his mind is never on where he's going so it's easy for him to bump into stuff. His friends and family members have gotten into the habit of just grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the way of whatever he's about crash into.
    Eita isn't easily angered but is definitely not someone you want to start an argument with because, as said, he's easily fired up and it will get out of hand quite easily with his loud tendencies. This has labeled him as the 'tough' guy, for some odd reason. Yes, he's tall (ish) and won't hesitate to go all ninja warrior on your ass if you mess with his friends or his food but he is by no means tough. Eita is very easily scared by totally unscary things and won't even try to play it off. When he's scared, he's terrified and will latch onto the nearest person while screaming hysterically. Eita is also a bit moody but not really, it's mostly just an act. He'll very casually just act offended and unhappy so the person who "upset" him will give him the attention he wholeheartedly believes that he deserves. He is constantly smiling and talking to everyone, his aura always brightening up the room.
    Eita, upon first meeting someone, always pulls an intimidating face and stance, both of which are sometimes difficult for the undeniably pretty boy. He always pulls this intimidating move to try and scare new people, keyword: try. When they get to know him, they learn he's really just an over-excited puppy dog with a volume problem. He does this because of his past with bullying. He just doesn't want him nor his friends to get involved with the wrong people, even if they wouldn't even dare push the boundaries with Eita’s energetic, loud ways. Although he has a disability to stay quiet and serious for more than .05 seconds, Eita is quite responsible and caring. He holds a deep fondness for his friends and will go to great lengths to make sure they're happy. He absolutely hates when people he is close to aren't happy. He actually gives good advice when the moment presents itself. He is protective of the people he's close to and will literally fight anyone who upsets them or talks bad about them.
    Despite the fact that Eita is loud and a total ray of sunshine, he is actually quite insecure. He has always lacked confidence in his abilities and appearance since a bullying incident during his childhood. He often overworks himself to perfect his abilities. Some days, he practices until he is drenched in sweat and barely functioning enough to leave. Other days, he won't even leave the gym and will practice until he collapses. He doesn't even try to improve his looks. What he does do though is not look in the mirror. No matter what, he rarely looks in the mirror because of his dislike for his looks. Eita is always loud and spunky for the sake of his peers. He prefers to smile to give them reassurance instead of looking for reassurance from them. Where this mindset came from, he has no clue. He hates for people to see him cry and will hold it in until he's alone so no one can see him break down. Besides that, Eita is a very happy guy and you'd never be able to tell when he's upset, unless of course his usual bright smile isn't present.
    Overall, Eita is a boisterous and loving guy with a volume issue.

✿ BACKGROUND
          Eita grew up happily as a beta on the outskirts of Osaka, Japan alongside his beta twin sister, Erii. All throughout his childhood, he'd always been a bright, happy-go-lucky kid who befriended everyone and was loved by everyone. His twin sister, on the other hand, was the total opposite. She was subject to bullying but she never told Eita because of his protective tendencies over her. When he did find out, he tried to get involved to help his sister but he only fell victim to it as well. Though not for long, the bullying really took a blow at his self-esteem. That year, when he was seven years old, three important things happened in Eita’s life. One, his parents divorced. Two, he, his mother, and his siblings, all moved to Busan, South Korea. And three, his alpha younger brother, Hikashi, was born nine months after they moved.
      The move and change of scenery was a whole new thing for the dark-skinned boy and his siblings but they adapted quickly. He came to love the culture and their new lifestyle, despite the strange looks and harsh comments he earned from classmates thanks to his tan skin. The following year, Eita befriended the apartment building's maintenance man, Byun Junhee. After finding out that his new friend was a former boxer and a boxing coach at the nearby school, he begged and pleaded the man to teach him to box. Seeing no harm in teaching him, Junhee agreed and he eventually learned that the loud Japanese-Filipino boy was a natural, at both boxing and matchmaking. After forming a bond with Junhee, he made it his mission to set up the man and his mother. Somehow, this mischief-maker managed to succeed in his little mission, earning himself a happy mother and a new dad. In the months afterwards, Junhee took the dedicated Eita to many boxing competitions and even ensured that he would have a spot in his boxing club in high school. Although, Eita had other plans in mind for his career path.
      It was no secret that Eita was a boxing prodigy but it was also no secret that Eita had many other talents, talents that he himself preferred over boxing. When he was barely ten years old, EIta took it upon himself to audition for an entertainment company via the internet. His mom was undoubtedly furious with him for doing so without her permission but the beta woman couldn’t deny the wishes of her eldest son so she let him keep the entry. She also couldn’t deny that her son really did have the talent to make into the company, even at his young age. He did have a fairly good singing voice but the young boy could rap like no other. Everyone who has talked to him for even five seconds could probably tell why he’s such a good rapper: he talks fast. It’s always been a habit of his because of his talkative nature and it only became beneficial when it came to him being a rapper.
      Unsurprisingly, Eita received an email, rather, his mother received an email, a little under two weeks later that he made it to the second round of auditions. His mom gladly took some time off of work and took him and his siblings to the capital city of Seoul that he could attend the auditions, making the trip a little vacation for them. Eita ended up advancing to the next round and, before he knew it, he became an idol trainee at eleven years old.
      All throughout his years as a trainee, Eita worked so incredibly hard to make his debut, almost getting the chance twice during his nine years, once to be a soloist and another to be in a group, though both times he seemed to always fall short. Eita remained positive throughout his years as a trainee although his insecurity with himself did get worse. He kept smiling and persevered through the bias and struggles he faced. A little over eight years into his training, Eita fell in love with one of his friends he met in high school, Oh Dahye, a fellow beta, and it wasn’t long before he started dating her. Since then, they’ve remained together and he’s always tried his best to spend as much time as possible with his girlfriend though it became more and more difficult as he prepared for his debut. Although, he believed that she truly understood seeing as they’d been together for a while and had known each other for even longer. Little did he know, he was far from correct.

      - He has a way of always being able to see the good in people, which is probably why he ignores that his girlfriend has started making excuses whenever they have a chance to hang out.
      - Although he is Filipino, he can’t speak the language but he can understand it.
      - He absolutely hates arguments and just conflict in general. If a group of people is fighting and he's present or the topic of the argument, he will break down and either cry or have a panic attack since it reminds him of his parents before they got divorced.
      - He works out occasionally and has quite a bit of upper body strength.
      - He hates alpha/beta/omega dynamics and believes that everyone should be equal no matter what rank/sub-gender they fall under. He’s worked hard to not let his rank define him and often encourages others to do the same.
      - He is really close with his siblings and always helps his mom take care of them because he wants to help her out in any way that he can. What can he say? He’s a momma’s boy.
      - His English name was given to him by his father back in Japan so that his Filipino relatives have an easier time remembering his name. He doesn’t understand that reasoning but he supposes it makes sense.
      - He loves wearing thigh-high stockings whenever he’s just wearing shorts or boxers around the dorm because he finds them super comfortable and fuck toxic masculinity.
      - He is really good at volleyball despite having little to no background in the sport.

      - He is openly pansexual although he won’t say it unless he’s asked because he doesn’t think it’s something necessary to say whenever he’s introducing himself to someone.

      FEAR OF ABANDONMENT | Eita has never been truly alone but he can’t shake the fear that, one day, everyone he has come to cherish will abandon him and leave him completely alone. Because of this, he often tries to make a point to not be left alone anywhere. For example, if he’s in his room, he at least wants the comfort of knowing there is another person there in the dorm too.
      FEAR OF PIGEONS | This fear probably seems incredibly ridiculous but, trust him, it’s warranted. Eita cannot stand being around pigeons because they’re just so weird and disease-ridden. Not to mention, he had quite the traumatic experience as a child when his sister and him were feeding the birds. Let’s just say that Eita and pigeons don’t get along very well.
      FEAR OF FAILURE | Eita’s biggest and most crippling fear is his fear of failure. The mere thought of failing terrifies him to the point of panic. The last thing he wants is for everything he’s worked so hard for to be put to waste or discredited. Because of this fear, he overworks himself to an unhealthy extent just so that he can make sure every little thing he does is as perfect as he can manage. Anything that he deems less than perfect is just one more thing he pushes himself to work on.

     Eita is very bright and energetic on camera while he’s on stage and on camera, not much different from his usual persona. It’s hard to look away from him sometimes because he always looks so happy being on the stage and he really is. He loves performing so much.       Eita loves all of his group members equally but he’s probably the closest to PURPLE because he’s pretty good at reading people and is one of the only people who understands PURPLE when he can’t communicate or express his feelings properly. He also has a way, as previously stated in trivia, of seeing the good in people so he finds it incredibly easy to look past his “asshole” exterior and stay by his side no matter what he says.
