- (04:02 PM): (Tamaki greetings)
- (04:02 PM): Tamaki: Hello, master~ Kontama! Virtual youtuber and artist here Inuyama Tamaki, let's start with the title call~!
- (04:03 PM): T: Indonesian teacher approaches?! The ID Diva loves fanfiction?
- (04:02 PM): T: That being said, today's stream is starting!
- (04:03 PM): T: (asking for translations)
- (04:03 PM): Tamaki: As you can see, we are having someone from Hololive ID, translator is always appreciated, now as for my recently appointed mama, Pavolia Reine~
- (04:03 PM): T: Will Reine become my mama? Let's see!
- (04:03 PM): T: This time, Reine-san will talk in Japanese too, so the TLs in chat will be appreciated!
- (04:04 PM): Tamaki: ahhh welcome Reine-san, this is your first time right? Do you have any first impression?, Reine: I am very very nervous right now lmao
- (04:04 PM): T: This time you are called to my channel, is there anything you want to say?
- (04:04 PM): T: Was there any special reaction from your fans, Reine? R: They are all super excited for this. Everybody came!
- (04:04 PM): T: For you to do collaborations outside of hololive, is that a normal thing? I’ve seen your collab with Pochimaru-sensei, but…
- (04:04 PM): R: I’ve participated in a group quiz among Indonesian vtubers before, yes.
- (04:05 PM): T: So outside of hololive, vtubers are a thing in Indonesia, too, huh? R: Oh yes, that is true.
- (04:05 PM): Tamaki: For collaborations, is this a normal thing? I mean there's your collab with Pochi-sensei too your own mama, R: Well i do participate in quite a lot of collab, there's also that quiz
- (04:05 PM): T: Reine-san usually does her Indonesian classroom on her channel for the other hololive girls. Are you anxious with being a guest this time around? R: Oh no, it's fine!
- (04:06 PM): T: Ahhh i see, so vtubers outside hololive in Indonesia also exist huh? I see, that is nice, now let's move to the 1st question
- (04:06 PM): R: I did know of you before! You are super cute and… I thought you were a woman at first.
- (04:06 PM): Reine: I saw you as this cute and soft spoken girls, and then i thought you are a GIRL
- (04:06 PM): T: So you are aware of my gender properly? R: Yes, I am! T: I am a boy, after all. So you’ve watched me when you thought I was a girl?
- (04:07 PM): R: Let's see, how was it… it was at a time when I’ve been watching a lot of different things… I wonder when exactly I found you in some clip!
- (04:07 PM): T: So you watch clips with subtitles normally? R: Good question! I watch so many different clips, some with and some without…
- (04:07 PM): R: And now, well, since knowing that, i have been interested in knowing you so i hit up some clips because at the time i was exploring and such, T: So do you watch clips with subs? or not?
- (04:07 PM): R: Some have, some not
- (04:07 PM): T: So you understand everything even without subtitles? R: Even when there are subtitles, I still listen to it, after all.
- (04:08 PM): T: I found out about you, well, I first knew about Pochimaru-sensei, and heard that she was going to get a new daughter.
- (04:08 PM): T: Since I don’t speak English, I always thought this wasn’t for me, until I heard of your Indonesian classrooms! I was so surprised that you speak Japanese fluently.
- (04:09 PM): T: For me, the first time i heard about you, is when i learned that Pochi-sensei is getting a new daughter and i was like "Wow your daughter is ID That's nice" And i have been going to your class
- (04:09 PM): R: Hm, I wonder how it went? I think I started from books? Without books, the grammar is pretty hard… writing by hand is also hard, so I used books to study that.
- (04:10 PM): R: Yes, I can write hiragana, too T: Amazing! R: Kanji are more difficult, but some kanji I can write… T: (being amazed)
- (04:10 PM): T: Now this one, how do you learn japanese? R: I mostly learn from books, since grammar is pretty hard for me, T: So katakana you probably can, how about hiragana, R: also can, T: How about kanji
- (04:10 PM): T: So it's not like you learned all that Japanese from manga, but properly from studying? R: Well, yes, I have a kanji app on my phone, for instance… T: You're so serious about learning!
- (04:11 PM): T: This is the first time I meet someone here who learned Japanese by actually studying. And the fans say she's better than me already…
- (04:11 PM): Reine: Kanji is a bit hard, but there are some i can write, T: That's amazing, so i assume that ID also consume mangas and animes as learning tools too, i mean some learnt from animes (cough)
- (04:11 PM): T: There are many Japanese students who don’t learn to write by hand anymore, because keyboards convert it for you so well.
- (04:11 PM): And now for the next question, Have you ever been to Japan and what is the most surprising thing for you?
- (04:11 PM): R: Yes, I have been to Japan before! (…) Where was it… Osaka and Kyoto…
- (04:12 PM): Reine: I went to it once, i think last time i went to Japan it was Osaka and Kyoto, T: Whoa? Really? Those are nice
- (04:12 PM): T: So you’ve been there for tourism? R: Exactly. T: And where would you like to go next? R: Beg pardon?
- (04:12 PM): R: Ah, yes. I really wanted to go to Okinawa for a long time. I’ve also not been to Hokkaidō yet and really want to go.
- (04:12 PM): Reine: I wanna see Okinawa and Hokkaido too, i heard they are pretty nice
- (04:13 PM): T: I also haven’t been to Hokkaidō yet, you know. I want to go there one time. R: Yeah, let's go. T: We gonna go?
- (04:13 PM): derivative novels = fanfiction
- (04:13 PM): As for genre of novels? I think i love romance
- (04:13 PM): R: I think the most fitting romance for me is Romance Comedy
- (04:13 PM): R: I am really into the romance genre. I also like comedies a lot, of characters and such that I like…
- (04:14 PM): T: So you mostly read parodies and other fan works, of what shows? R: Hm, let's see. Bandori? T: Bandori??! To think that'd come up!
- (04:14 PM): R: And i also like Revue Starlight too, T: Whoa, you know that too????!!!
- (04:15 PM): T: So you are into… girl & girl works, huh? R: Ah, yes, friendship among girls. T: Ah yes, friendship among girls.
- (04:15 PM): T: So this is actually not about lesbian relationships, but friendship stories? R: (laughs) Ah well, both, I suppose.
- (04:15 PM): T: So Reine can go with any. What other genres have you gotten into before?
- (04:16 PM): R: Hm, let's see. Rather than books, when it comes to games, I really got into mysteries. Like Danganronpa.
- (04:16 PM): T: So now how about other genre, like games?, R: I like mystery, like Danganronpa
- (04:16 PM): T: Whoa you like Danganronpa too? Who is your fav chara?, R: Junko, as expected
- (04:16 PM): T: Who do you like in Danganronpa? R: Let's see… aside from Junko… uh, wait, are the names the same in the English version? I like Maizono.
- (04:17 PM): R: Well aside from junko, there's also Maizono too
- (04:17 PM): T: I think the names are the same. But why Maizono? She's such a small role! R: Oh, I like her looks! T: Talking much about her role would be spoilers… is it because she's an idol?
- (04:17 PM): R: There's also kaito from Danganronpa V3 too, T: So you followed it even to V3? Wow
- (04:17 PM): T: Ah, wait, there are a lot of fan works about Maizono… I see, I see. That’s what you're about, Reine.
- (04:18 PM): (thinking of Japanese titles to things she likes)
- (04:18 PM): List of things Reine likes: When They Cry (both), 999
- (04:19 PM): Marshmallow: + Have you been going to voice training?
- (04:19 PM): R: Oh no, I don’t think I’ve done a lot of voice training… I usually just train by myself.
- (04:19 PM): T: After hearing your King, I really want everyone to listen to it.
- (04:19 PM): T: So Reine do you do any voice training?, R: I do need to train my voice yes, and i gotta brute force my voice sometimes to train it
- (04:20 PM): T: Apparently, most good singers don’t go to voice training a lot. R: Huh, is that so? Even though it's so fun.
- (04:20 PM): T: So it seems that you like Cpt. Marine… what do you like about her? R: When I hear her voice… I just get happy.
- (04:21 PM): R: Marine-senpai’s chatting streams are my BGM for whatever I do.
- (04:21 PM): T: I asked Anya before what she liked about Fubuki before and she also answered voice. It seems that voices conquer borders, huh?
- (04:22 PM): T: So you really love Marine that much!
- (04:22 PM): T: And now next maro, "Do an imitation of Marine's voice", R: EHHHHH, it's been a long time tho
- (04:22 PM): T: She's really good! I’ve watched a clip before. Can you do her introduction? R: Oh my, it's been a while, let's see…
- (04:22 PM): R: (Marine opening)
- (04:22 PM): T: THAT WAS AMAZING, DID YOU HEAR THAT??
- (04:23 PM): T: Isn’t she super good??!!! R: The woman herself told me that I was very close to… Kanata's version of her.
- (04:23 PM): T: THAT WAS AMAZING, DID YOU HEAR THAT??, i think one of the other who can do that kind of impression is Kanatan
- (04:23 PM): T: I guess everybody sounds more like Kanata-Marine than Marine herself.
- (04:23 PM): So for th next one, "Who is your best and most memorable student in your course"
- (04:24 PM): Reine: Hmm, everyone is amazing tho, they are good at Indonesian the first time speaking it
- (04:24 PM): R: Well, everybody I taught so far was super good at learning and earnestly studied on it! I was really surprised about this, actually.
- (04:24 PM): T: So the people just start being able to speak Indonesian on stream? R: Exactly! Isn’t it amazing?
- (04:25 PM): R: Well last week I did my first English-language Indonesian course. T: Oh yes, I watched that! Coco-san was constantly trying to trouble you! Did you watch it, everyone?
- (04:25 PM): R: It was really something…
- (04:26 PM): T: Was Coco-san good at learning it? R: She was amazing. Anything I taught her, she remembered instantly. The bad words and… T: Terrible. R: I think we call it "intelligent".
- (04:26 PM): T: How often would she ask you to say bad things, I wondered… it was tough! I don’t even want to remember it all.
- (04:26 PM): R: Oh yes, some of it was bad… let's not talk too much about it.
- (04:26 PM): T: After the hellish Indonesian course comes the next MM!
- (04:27 PM): T: Who was the first holoJP member you talked to? Was it Subaru? R: Let's see, who was it… I think it was Polka-senpai.
- (04:27 PM): T: Polka?! Oh yes, you did do the Indonesian course. How did you find together? R: We both like Starlight and… T: Aaah I see, I see, otaku of one ilk.
- (04:28 PM): T: So by now, you are really close with everybody, but did it take courage at first? R: Well, the first time, it's by text, right? I worried a lot about those texts…
- (04:28 PM): R: Is the grammar right? I asked my manager again and again! I knew the grammar was right, but does it look impolite? I worried for so long!
- (04:29 PM): T: Oh yes! All those politeness levels in Japanese and the nuances, it's all very complex.
- (04:29 PM): T: Your manager speaks Japanese, too, and do they speak English? R: Oh yes, they do. T: Amazing! I wonder if all the ID management is like that.
- (04:30 PM): R: To know English is pretty important in Indonesia, yes.
- (04:30 PM): T: That level of interaction is really high spec huh, especially M-chan too, i wonder if all of them are like that
- (04:30 PM): Now next one, Interesting stories about Holobird
- (04:30 PM): MM: Tamaki, do you know of HoloBirds? Takanashi Kiara, Pavolia Reine and Oozora Subaru combined.
- (04:31 PM): T: You do a lot of collabs with both of them, don’t you? Do you have a lot of fun stories to share?
- (04:31 PM): R: Well, that one time recently, we built the Bird Mountain, Subaru and I… T: The heck is a bird mountain? Wait, Minecraft? Oooh…
- (04:31 PM): R: So I had to apologise for being so bad at counting that time… T: Why does Subaru then have to count?!
- (04:32 PM): R: All the holobirds actually talk pretty loud, too… T: True! Now that you mention it, you are all loud and I have you set really low right now.
- (04:32 PM): R: Oh no! Should I go lower? T: No no, you are already set right on my end.
- (04:32 PM): T: When I first spoke to Kiara and Subaru, too, I thought that… all so loud.
- (04:33 PM): T: Since you are the Indonesian teacher, I should ask you about this, how do I say… mommy in Indonesian?
- (04:33 PM): R: Well, there are many ways to say that! Although like in Japan, "mama" works.
- (04:34 PM): R: Although you wouldn’t say that to a young person… T: How do you call someone -san when they are young? R: Oh, just use the name. Although you can say kak a bit more politely.
- (04:34 PM): (They are wondering about the many different ways to call an older woman in Japanese and in Indonesia, there's kak = onee-chan, and there's emak/ibu/mama etc)
- (04:34 PM): T: Now, I know about some more weird words, like… ring. R: Ah, that one…
- (04:35 PM): T: Words that sound funny in Japan, like… hope… R: (just starts clapping)
- (04:35 PM): T: Iofi-san taught me these things. So I know some more funny words. R: Hope sure is funny.
- (04:35 PM): T: So, now please teach me how to say "please become my mommy" in Indonesian! R: ???
- (04:36 PM): T: As expected i wanna know how to learn how to say "be my mama" in Indonesia
- (04:36 PM): T: Now I’ve been hunting for overseas girls. Now that Anya is my girlfriend, I want a mommy.
- (04:36 PM): R: … right. I'll teach you that and one more bonus.
- (04:36 PM): R: You're dreaming. T: ??? R: Halu means "you're dreaming".
- (04:37 PM): R: Oh my, I can’t get around it. It's fine. T: It's fine?!! R: It's fine… T: (introduces his mommy)
- (04:37 PM): T: So now I have a GF and a mommy in Indonesian… my advances are undeniable!
- (04:38 PM): T: So, enough of my pranks, next Marshmallow!
- (04:38 PM): T: I got a lot of questions about this one. Is it true? R: Oh yes, I recently did a keyboard review stream, too. Reviewing my fans' keyboards.
- (04:39 PM): T: So you're serious about keyboards, huh! What do you use? R: I use a 65% self-made keyboard. I have a 60% one too, but I don’t use it much.
- (04:39 PM): R: I once bought one where I set every single piece and waited a month for it to be assembled and delivered.
- (04:39 PM): T: (less surprised than viewers for the first time)
- (04:40 PM): T: How expensive was that? R: Yes. T: How expensive? R: Yes. T: She can’t tell us… how much was it??! R: Oh, my Japanese fell apart! I can only say yes!
- (04:40 PM): R: I’m still studying after all!
- (04:41 PM): T: So, keyboard, what do you consider when buying one?, R: Like Keycaps or the switch, things like that
- (04:41 PM): T: Someone said an expensive keyboard would be 100,000 yen, is that true? R: Well yes, but mine isn’t that expensive.
- (04:41 PM): T: I use a 3k yen keyboard, so I do wonder just how amazing yours is… R: (giggles) T: I am afraid
- (04:41 PM): R: Who sent this? Please tell me. T: Oh, a lot of people did.
- (04:41 PM): T: Now on to the next one, "Reine has a very messy room, and she always refuse to clean it, please ask Reine to clean her room", R: WHO SEND THIS
- (04:42 PM): T: Is it… that dirty? Reaaallly? R: Oh no, not at all. What's wrong with that person? Are they picking a fight?
- (04:42 PM): R: Who send this i have to know, T: Hey now, maro is anon anyway lmao, R: That's not true, my room is CLEAN
- (04:42 PM): T: So, what kind of junk is around in your room? R: Oh, nothing at all. T: Really? Wait, I can hear some noise!
- (04:42 PM): R: And i gotta- AAHHH, T: SEE? THAT MEANS YOUR ROOM IS MESSY
- (04:42 PM): R: You dont hear anything, that is my discord noises
- (04:43 PM): R: Oh, that must’ve been some noise from the cables! T: … how dirty. Obvious garbage noises.
- (04:42 PM): T: Clean your room geez
- (04:43 PM): R: By the way, the Indonesian word for clean is… T: I didn’t hear that, and the sudden language course is not a distraction!
- (04:43 PM): T: Who do you want to be a mom of?
- (04:43 PM): MM: Reine-chan looks like a mommy no matter how you look at it, but…
- (04:43 PM): T: So mom and sister, who?
- (04:44 PM): R: Who huh...I think Mio senpai is a good choice
- (04:44 PM): R: Eeeeh… Mommy? Hm… I do look like a mommy a lot, but a mommy for me? Hm… maybe Mio-senpai or Noel-senpai?…
- (04:44 PM): T: Although Noel and Mio are both my mommies! R: So we become… sisters? T: Wait, how does it work?
- (04:45 PM): R: As for sister, well...i think Subaru senpai is a nice one, T: Sister huh....yeah i think Kiara is good for you too~
- (04:45 PM): R: And for sisters… hm… maybe Kiara-senpai would be good? The holobird family?
- (04:45 PM): R: Subaru senpai is my sister who sounds like "KWEK KWEK"
- (04:45 PM): T: Although I think that Kiara fits more as the middle sister between you holobirds! R: Oh, that works well, too!
- (04:45 PM): R: And as for me "MEP MEP"
- (04:45 PM): T: best combo in hololive?, R: Okakoro no doubt
- (04:45 PM): R: I love OkaKoro.
- (04:46 PM): T: It's super nice when Koro-san gets angry and envious.
- (04:47 PM): R: I really want more girl viewers! T: Are there any girls here? We'll only get crossdressers, though…
- (04:47 PM): Now then, if you had not become a vtuber, what kind of works or career you wanna have?
- (04:48 PM): R: I recently found out I’m really into cooking! My skills are about terrible, but… I think that if you can eat it, it's okay?
- (04:48 PM): R: Should I send you some of my cooking? T: What?! No!! That's disgusting! R: Oh my, why? What do you like? T: Uh, yeah, uhm, let's do curry…
- (04:48 PM): R: This talk has surfaced many times huh, well i think i wanna be a chef too, Tamaki you should eat my food too, what do you wanna eat?, T: Curry? Maybe?, R: i can cook up some curries
- (04:49 PM): R: I wonder what to put in curry… T: Curry is curry, Reine! R: You can do anything with curry, I should do something special! I know the recipe, but I wanna be a little creative~
- (04:49 PM): T: Do you? Do you know how to cook a curry? It's recipe perhaps?, R: I will just have to be CREATIVE
- (04:49 PM): T: Why do you believe in yourself so much?!
- (04:49 PM): T: So if you don't become a vtuber you wanna become a chef, i am uhhh looking forward to it....
- (04:49 PM): R: Just don’t worry about the colour so much! T: So you would become a cook, huh… how fun… just… don’t poison your sisters…
- (04:50 PM): T: Maybe you can just… cook some nice duck… R: Duck? T: Yeah, cook birds. By the way, can you eat bird meat? R: Of course! T: ???
- (04:50 PM): T: How about birds? Ever eaten one?, R: Nope, T: Why? lmao, R: i am not a race traitor
- (04:50 PM): T: So isn’t that cannibalism? R: No, why? T: Uh… I see… I guess Kiara was eating KF*, too…
- (04:50 PM): T: Why would you eat Bird meat too?, R: it's tasty okay, T: Isnt this basically cannibalism?
- (04:51 PM): R: My mom, you know, she's so nice and kind! Sometimes we play Apex off stream, we chat over Discord and stuff!
- (04:51 PM): T: Anyway next question, the one time you are very glad that pochi is your mom, R: Ahhh yess this one, i expressed my feelings so much in my Apex collab with her
- (04:51 PM): And since then i have been collabing with her, and chatting over discord too and playing apex offline
- (04:51 PM): T: Have you read her manga? R: Oh well, just a little bit so far. T: Oh, her manga are all Japanese, after all. Is Elder Sister translated? R: Oh yes, it is!
- (04:52 PM): T: You know, there are two versions of Elder Sister… maybe you could read the all-ages version, although obviously not the R-18 one!
- (04:53 PM): T: Is there anything that would surprise us Japanese people? R: Surprising things, hm… there are those traditional things…
- (04:53 PM): R: So, Indonesia is made up of islands. And there are so many different peoples living here, so there are tonnes of different traditional dances and stuff!
- (04:54 PM): R: Do you know that Indonesia consists of many islands which means many people inside with many diff cultures, especially traditional music and dance, Tamaki: Whoaaa
- (04:54 PM): R: Is there anything that Indonesians would be surprised about in Japan? T: Oh, hm, would they be surprised about seiza sitting? (…) It hurts so much I don’t even wanna do it!
- (04:55 PM): T: Kiara said that people sleeping in trains is really crazy, would you sleep on a train in Indonesia? R: For your safety… you should not.
- (04:55 PM): R: I wouldn’t be surprised, but I would worry about that sleeping person. They should be more careful.
- YuSooKey (04:55 PM): you can sleep on the train in Japan but it might be dangerous in Indonesia
- (04:56 PM): T: So next one, what have been the best thing when you join hololive, R: I think obviously there are so many things i can talk about, but i think learning more about communication is one of them
- (04:56 PM): R: Meeting so many different people and learning about so many different new things. The new ways of thinking… I learned just how important communication is.
- (04:56 PM): I learned to talk to a lot of person ever since i joined hololive and i am glad for it
- (04:57 PM): T: So now next one, the difficult and happy moments in your vtuber career, R: Hmm the difficulty one first, i think communication is one of the hardest part, like choosing the right words to-
- (04:57 PM): R: To avoid misunderstanding
- (04:57 PM): R: Do you mean difficult times? T: Yes, that R: Hm, well, communication is key, so the most difficult part was putting into words what I wanted to say so that nobody misunderstands.
- (04:57 PM): R: You have to be super careful. T: I don’t know if you understand "literacy", but you seem to be super good at it!
- (04:58 PM): T: How about happy ones?, R: Simple, just being with everyone is already a fun moment for me~
- (04:58 PM): R: About happy moments, let's look at the simple things. When we play around, the viewers and I, and we just have fun… I am the most happy in those moments.
- (04:58 PM): R: Like my happiness is simple, just with everyone here, and my fans too~
- (04:59 PM): MM: distribution = stream
- (04:59 PM): T: What was your dream in your first stream? R: I wanted to publish an original song and merch that I designed myself.
- (04:59 PM): R: I had a lot of projects that I wanted to realise with everybody.
- (05:00 PM): R: For now… I want to level up on my goals, get better at what we do.
- (05:01 PM): T: What do you think of this stream? R: I got a new child, huh…
- (05:01 PM): R: Will you clean my room, then? T: … yes, I will… I think that noise from earlier was a chips bag, so I'll start with that.
- (05:01 PM): T: So anyway, thanks for coming, dont forget to check out Reine! Otsutama!
