  1. [23:54] <&pawz> lawd.. tough week
  2. [23:54] <&pawz> i'm fucking homeless... my shit is in storage... my cats are living in a friend's shed until i can get them into a cattery tomorrow (which they are gonna HATE)
  3. [23:55] <&pawz> god it's lucky i have some money and friends.. else i would be sitting on a street corner using my macbook under a cardboard fucking box
  4. [23:55] <@Whitefang> o.o Ouch
  5. [23:56] <&pawz> i mean.. it's not such a big deal really.. i'm sure it's quite common for some... but it's annoying because a couple of years ago i actually owned my own house (until i had to sell it to pay my fuckwit wife off)
  6. [23:56] <&pawz> now i'm at the mercy of dickhead landlords etc
  7. [23:57] <&pawz> so tonight, i'm sleeping on the floor of a friend's house
  8. [23:57] <@Whitefang> Ick.. that sucks
  9. [23:58] <&pawz> it's hardly ideal. but it's not the end of the world. i'm comfortable.. my cats are ok (though not sleeping in my bed as usual sadly).. i have internet... blah blah
  10. [23:58] <+Tally> A costly divorce I take it?
  11. [23:58] <&pawz> i'd feel guilty if i claimed i was hard done by
  12. [23:58] <&pawz> Tally: there's no such thing as a non-costly divorce
  13. [23:59] <+Tally> Was it a really bad marriage though?
  14. [23:59] <&pawz> no, actually it was the absolute perfect marriage
  15. [23:59] <&pawz> we never argued once in 8 years
  16. [23:59] <+Tally> Then why the divorce?
  17. [23:59] <&pawz> but i had a history of ... well... some criminal activities
  18. [23:59] <+Tally> Ah :S
  19. [00:00] <&pawz> and during my wife's pregnancy i sorta accidently got caught for hacking
  20. [00:00] <&pawz> and she thought i was going to go to jail for several years (penalty was 5-10 years per offence)
  21. [00:00] <&pawz> which was retarded of course
  22. [00:01] <&pawz> and like her only living relative convinced her that i was a bad person to live with.. despite supporting her, paying for all her expenses.. and paying tens of thousands of dollars in fertility treatment so that we could have a child
  23. [00:02] <&pawz> nevertheless, she thought that having a hacker for a husband was unwise.. she was a bit emotional at the time.... some relative who she hadn't seen in years stepped in and said "he's bad.. you should leave him" ... and well... despite having the most perfect marriage i've ever heard of ... she did
  24. [00:03] <&pawz> if you need an analogy... i am julian assange... i am norti despite being smart, well paid and incredibly supportive
  25. [00:03] <&pawz> but my wife freaked out and left anyway
  26. [00:03] <&pawz> now she lives on welfare in her aunt's garage
  27. [00:03] <+Tally> Sucks. :S
  28. [00:03] <+Tally> Just kinda sounds like things randomly exploded.
  29. [00:04] <&pawz> it's called "post natal depression"
  30. [00:04] <+Tally> Thought you said it happened during pregnancy
  31. [00:04] <&pawz> the hacking offences occured during the pregnancy
  32. [00:04] <&pawz> she left after the baby was born
  33. [00:05] <&pawz> yeah. but my point wasn't to talk about that.. i was just expressing how annoying it was that a couple of years ago.. i would have been laying on my back lawn thinking "o how lovely it is to own my own house.. i do so love laying on my back lawn (that i own) and feeling happy and secure"
  34. [00:06] <&pawz> and tonight... i'm sleeping on a mattress on the floor of my daughter's godfather's parent's house
  35. [00:06] <&pawz> not particularly happy about that situation i must say
