Gold Chocobo Notes

Chocobo Breeding Notes:

2 Great Chocobos (Mideel Area. Appears with Spirals)
1 Wonderful Chocobo (Icicle Inn Area. Appears with Hoppings)
3 Corob Nuts (Steal from Vlakorados in Grassy Area near Icicle Inn. Alternatively, 500 GP Wonder Square on Gold Saucer<NEVER DO)
1 Zeio Nut (Steal from Goblins on Goblin Island in the North East part of the Map. More than 1 if you want extremely fast Gold)
99 Sylkis Greens (Need to buy them from the Chocobo Sage multiple times for each chocobo)
Mastered All Materias (Best for selling so you can buy the Sylkis Greens)
SAVE (Before going into the farm to breed, ALWAYS SAVE)

Step 1: Obtain all of the above. Save Outside. Move 1 Great to the Pen. Save. Move other Great to Pen and reload until it's opposite Gender. Move Wonderful to Pen.
Step 2: Feed your 3 Chocobos 99 Sylkis Greens Apiece
Step 3: Race all 3 Chocobos to S Rank at Gold Saucer
Step 4: Breed both Great Chocobos with a Corob Nut to get either a Green/Blue Male/Female Chocobo
Step 5: Feed it 99 Sylkis
Step 6: Race it to S Rank
Step 7: Fight 10-16 Battles
Step 8: Mate Great Chocobos (Corob Nut again) to get Opposite Color and Opposite Gender of Chocobo.
Step 9: Repeat 5-7 for this chocobo
Step 10: Mate Green and Blue with Corob Nut for a Black that is OPPOSITE GENDER OF THE WONDERFUL
Step 11: repeat 5-7 for this chocobo
Step 12: Mate Black Chocobo with Wonderful Chocobo (Choose Black First) using Zeio Nut to get Gold Chocobo (Unless Going for super fast gold. Read below if you want that)

Now you have a Gold Chocobo. Enjoy

If you want a Super Fast Gold Chocobo, you're going to be breeding several generations of BLACK Chocobos before you go gold.
1: Breed the first Black Chocobo with it's Parent using a Zeio Nut to get a Black Chocobo of the opposite gender as your first.
2: Repeat 5-7 (only should need 35 Sylkis greens each from here for each Black)
3: Keep doing these 2 steps until you get a Black Chocobo with speed of 154 or Higher (I managed to get a 172 before)
4: After you do the Gold Chocobo step, you'll need to repeat the above 3 steps except you're going for Gold Chocobos (your second gold chocobo will need to be made the same as the first)
5: The top speed you should be getting is 176. It's the fastest speed anyone has ever proven they've obtained

With this Gold Chocobo you should be able to Conquer the S Rank races without any problem (Except Teioh/Joey. You'll have to focus to beat them)
