  the girl was born in shanghai. she had two older brothers who are twins, xiaolang and liqiang. when she was about to reach the age of one, his family had to move to america because of work. when moving to the united states, she was instantly taught english. the girl loved singing since at a young age. both she and her father would always sing songs that they happened to stumble upon. in the day old age of ipods and such, her father gave her one and she listened to different songs each time. from big time rush, one direction, the beatles to beyonce and michael jackson - she loves each of them. when nobody by the wonder girls went viral, she instantly loved it. dancing to it 24/7 and always singing it at school.
    the girl is very energetic for her age and often plays basketball and badminton with her friends. one day while playing, she felt suffocated. she was rushed to the hospital and soon found out she had asthma, getting it from her grandparents. it was shocking to know it had suddenly attacked her at the age of seven but that didn't stop the girl. she still played sports and danced but minimized it due to her condition. upon growing up, the girl grew up as a beauty - courtesy from her mother's side. at the age of thirteen, she was offered to model for stylenanda. being young, she thought none of it and accepted it right away.
  she learned that the show biz world is definitely scary, yes, but she never stopped. while she was working with stylenanda, she was suddenly scouted by jyp when they were doing a global audition near her area. at first she accepted the offer because of her parents but upon being there for a little over a year, she stopped after not being confident in what she was doing. after months of rest and stopping as a trainee for jyp, the girl auditioned for starship at the age of fifteen.
