  1. It's hump day here in Malton, and we've got a special
  2. broadcast planned for you! We'll be taking a look back
  3. through the history of the 5th of November. The very first
  4. 5th of November was held in 2006 as discussed on Monday's
  5. broadcast, with a second held the following year in 2007.
  6. The resulting victory was not well documented, unfortunately.
  7. In 2008, that the focus was on taking back and holding the
  8. hospitals of Ridleybank. We can't say for certain how well
  9. the 5th of Novembers of 2009 to 2011 were, as again there is
  10. little documentation. The 5th of November of 2012 saw a
  11. higher number of PKers than usual, and was a short siege,
  12. only lasting a couple of days. There was no 5th of November
  13. held during 2013 and 2014. With NecroConnect having been
  14. created in mid-2015, the 5th of November for 2015 was
  15. organised there. Initially, there were repair-and-flee
  16. strikes going into Ridleybank, with the siege on Blackmore
  17. running from November 19-28. For some light entertainment,
  18. the Broadway Zombies performed their version of Titanic from
  19. November 5-8. For 2016, the 5th of November is again being
  20. organised on NecroConnect, so if you are a survivor, zombie,
  21. or group on either side, head to http://bit.ly/NCnet and get
  22. involved!
  23. http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/5th_of_November/2016 is
  24. where to find details about it on the wiki.
  25. As always, get in touch with us on 28.00 MHz or via
  26. Necroconnect at http://bit.ly/NCnet
  27. Thanks for listening, and stay tuned to 27.55 MHz!
