How to trigger glitch bosses in Gyruss (NES)

First, enter the stage that has the glitch boss you want. To do this, when the game is on the screen with all the planets,
go to the following addresses with Cheat Engine and enter the desired Stage # and Planet values.
Stage - 0059E3ED
Planet - 0059E3F6

Glitch bosses only trigger when you are 1 warp away from a glitch planet. The first glitch boss can be triggered on Stage 2A (43) and planet 0A.
To get to the next stage with a glitch boss, add 4 to the stage value and 1 to the planet value.

Example:
Level 43: 2A 0A
Level 47: 2E 0B
Level 51: 32 0C
Level 55: 36 0D

To trigger the glitch boss, the moment you see the READY text on screen, change the value of address 0059E3F1 to any value other than 00. The value will then automatically switch back to 00,
then the glitch boss battle will start. To end a boss battle, write any value to that same address. When a stage past 39 ends, the game is automatically won.

If you want to change how many lives and power shots you have, change the values of these addresses:
Lives - 0059E3DE
Power Shots - 0059E3DF
