Professional spies don't just get fired like regular people. Instead, they get "burned". And when you are burned, you're exposed and left with absolutely nothing to your name. No cash, no credit, no credit score, no job history, and you're stuck in whatever city the agency decides to leave you in. Michael Westen is one such spy. He was burned and decides to take his revenge on the people who burned him. But in order to do so, he decides he cannot do this alone, so he teams up with people from his past. His former partner Sam Axe, an ex-Navy SEAL who used to rat on him to the FBI and more than enjoys a good cocktail or two. And his on again, off again ex-girlfriend Fiona Glenanne, who enjoys explosives and firearms as much as fashion and yogurt. Together, they take on cases that help individuals throughout the city of Miami, while Michael puts together the pieces of the puzzle about the people that burned him. And they will need lots of yogurt and C4 in order to do so.
A spy recently disavowed by the U.S. government uses his special ops training to help others in trouble.
I knew Jeff Donovan from "Book of Shadows," before Touching Evil. I saw that show on USA and loved it. When It was canceled, I was very upset. It was such a good show with a good cast. Now he has a better show on USA. He is, basically, a loose cannon. Michael Westen has more "freedom" the David Creegan, no legal stuff. A spy who got fired and uses his special training and tactics to help other people while looking for the person who burned him. Since he was burned, he has had the FBI hot on his trail...and he knew. And he has plenty of help from friends, Fiona, an ex-girlfriend, and Sam. I learned so much from the first episode. He makes his job look so cool and fun...besides the part about getting burned. I hope this show stays on USA for a long time.
I started to watch this show couple years back and i was a fan for some time but now with every single new episode the plot is getting more and more stretched. It seems like the producers and writers of the show after first two seasons decided that they have a fun base and now they can produce any kind of acting and any kind of plot and everybody will be happy. But things are not that simple because the show now as it is just terrible. Actors are not very talented but somehow they managed to pull it of for couple of seasons and now they are getting comfortable and they don't even try and this is just sad. Every new character is just good example of terrible casting and acting and this is just sad. The show has the potential to be a good show and it started this way but with every new episode I just wonder how much more bad acting and bad writing can this studio produce because they are not getting any new fans hooked. It's a shame
