  7. Guy's Foreward: This was a hell of a trip. Literally, figuratively, whatever. Point is, Columbia-Tristar asked us to make a Module to promote the release of a series of vignettes called "Heavy Metal," coming to theaters later this year. At first, we were skeptical- a lot of people ask us to do Modules to promote their product, from comic books to laundry detergents. So the marketing department let us come to the studio to check it out. Between the ass-kicking visuals and face-melting soundtrack, we fell in love. We've done our best to capture the psychadelic nature of the film, and I'm quite proud of some of the moments during Radar Rider. Easily my best illusions in some time. The really tricky part, however, was forging the magic item central to the film's plot.

  9. If you, even for a moment, think you are enjoying the dungeon, I recommend seeing the film that inspired it- it's a classic in the making.

  11. Gax's Foreward: I did not understand half of what I saw. I only know that I woke up three days later, nostrils caked white and something by the Rolling Stones playing in the background, surrounded by trap designs including the phrase "demonic bees. Hallucinogenic venom? Must investigate." This dungeon isn't exactly my magnum opus, trap-wise. It's hard to keep the traps to an aesthetic when that aesthetic changes every 15 minutes. But I'm proud of some of the stuff I've done here nonetheless. It was a challenge, and any good trapsmith relishes a challenge.

  14. Special Thanks to the Necromancer's Guild of America for the Summon Undead spells, the Druid's Association of Mexico for miscellaneous spells, Columbia-Tristar for an advance screening of the film, the Blacksmith's Guild of Wisconsin, and of course the bands who provided the soundtrack. Shine on, you crazy diamonds.

  19. This is not a dungeon about subtlety, this is a dungeon about sheer face-melting insanity. So surf those damn convertibles into the atmosphere as nebulae, stars, and forsaken planets whiz by.
