   She was born in Toronto, Canada. Hanuel grew up there until she was seven. After that, she and her family moved to her father's hometown, Busan, South Korea. Growing up, she had a busan 'satoori' that she got from her grandparents. The accent would come out when she's frustrated or annoyed.
  Hanuel would always visit her parents' company out of interest. She soon was familiar with the surroundings and soon learned business through family members. She went to Seoul National University and graduated with flying colors. She then took over her family's business. Once she found out her mother sold a company to her rival's, she was disappointed but didn't snap towards her mother and stayed silent.
