Velvet shivered. The last time they had tangled with Carmine, it had taken all of Team CFVY to stop her, with assistance from Edward Caspian and, oddly enough, Bertilak, whom they had tricked into fighting her.

But Coco had said, You’re a one-person army, and that gave Velvet a boost of confidence as she prepared to face whatever was coming her way. With her weapon and Semblance, Velvet still had Team CFVY with her in a way, she realized.
