  3. Starting with Ashen Memoriam this time, I think that you didn’t do anything really poorly with this Jojolity, but it also doesn’t really stand out. There weren’t many parts of this that were emphasized as a Jojolity play beyond the mapping of how you approach the different chests, and while I appreciated the effort to manage that area that you want to lock down, I would have liked to see a more creative or in-depth manner of accomplishing this additional objective presented to you in a way that made an impact on the way you approached your overall goal. There really weren’t many standout ideas beyond the aforementioned mapping and sticking yourself to the tree in order to reach the golden treasure, and while those are fine on face, I think that you could have made a more conscientious effort towards completing this. Thus, this earns a perfectly average 6/10 from me.

  5. On the side of Eight Melodies, I liked the creativity with which you approached this part of the strategy. Visiting different areas such as the orange tree and the cliff face or skating on the waterfront is one thing, but incorporating them into your strategy and using them for counterplay against your opponent is an extra step that not only achieves this portion of the objective on face, but does so in a creative, effective, and convincing manner to reach your overall goal. While it doesn’t matter that much as far as Jojolity goes, I also appreciated the bits of flavor and narrative you tied into your strategy, even so far as to protect the apple of your eye from the flashbangs you produce. This is a very well-rounded approach that goes a long way from you– and honestly, there’s not a lot else to comment on. This earns a 9/10 from me!

  7. Great job from both sides!

  12. Valentine gets a 7 Jojolity. The ‘happy path’ of the strat is somewhat linear, the various interference plays working off of the environment, while in the (likely) case of interference, Valentine goes golfing to reach and cover other aspects of the map. I’ll mention here that using Blanks to fly might be overstating things, albeit for rhetorical effect; given the cooldown and explosive propulsion, it’s more like an extended fall. Nothing too unexpected here, it finds mechanical purchase, and it's decently integrated, so another 7.

  14. Lincoln gets a lower 7, but a 7 nonetheless. There isn’t quite as much tourist joie-de-vivre to his pathing, nor quite as much of it, but the aforementioned tree tech, from vaulting down the cliffside to being javelin tossed around, is enough to hit the threshold of “nothing particularly unexpected or exceedingly creative is done, but plays are robust and implemented in an entertaining manner.”

  18. Pretty simple jojolities to grade here. Valentine double jumps across the map and plays a little bit of golf (everyone's favorite form of mass land usage). You cross most of the map with a high-flying (falling? Who knows), no ifs ands or buts about it. Meanwhile, Lincoln does about the same, crossing the upper half of the map by default and pole-vaulting around the rest. As is both strats don't necessarily wow me with how they get around the map (I could roughly imagine both players doing about this much when match drop came), but they do so in an entertaining enough way, and for that they both net a 7!
