- - Whoa, SD Cards for the Nintendo Switch? Are they going to be releasing like this? Is that just for on the go play and they're released on DVD's?
- - Skyrim Remastered Confirmed? Is this going to be the replacement for Mass Effect 3 on launch or are 3rd parties actually interested in the Switch?
- - The little controller halves look like some of the most ungodly pieces of crap ever to play on by themselves.
- - NBA2k17 confirmed for the Switch? Will the sports games be full versions or will this be like on the Wii where it got bastardized versions?
- - New 3D Mario Game... no details yet but that's a good sign even if it's Galaxy 3.
- - Spla2n confirmed?
- 1. The first thing I noticed is that there's no real graphical step up on the Switch compared to the Wii U. That does make sense as we're going ever high with the graphical quality and after a certain point the limitation is the human eyeball... but still. You're not going to be playing the Switch because it can blow you away.
- 2. Are these games being released on SD Cards? Will the Switch come with a 32GB or 64GB card that you can load some of your games onto for portable play?
- 3. Related to #2, what kind of backwards compatibility with the Switch have? It doesn't seem like the mobile screen will allow for DVD media... what about the home base? Can I play Wii U games on this?
- 4. What's the battery life going to be? If you can play the Switch for 8-12 hours on the go that'll be pretty impressive.
- 5. More importantly, what's the price point for this? 400? 500? I don't think it'll be lower for the "Standard" version, but I could see a bare bones version retailing at 300 or 350.
- 6. The current lineup of games looks like Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Skyrim Remastered, Mario Kart 9, NBA2k17, Mario Switch, Splat2n. That's not an awful lineup, especially if the Mario Switch game has something new and innovative and isn't Mario Galaxy 3. It hits on 3 of their biggest franchises right out of the gate, along with the only promising franchise the Wii U created. I said before that the new Nintendo Console absolutely had to nail the opening day lineup, and at the moment it is looking more like it will than it will not.
