- DPit can be used to deal with Luma. And Rosalina can cancel our arrows.
- Pit can be used to edge guard. And we already have ways to deal with Luma. Arrows can be used to bait the gravitational pull, and force her to go low making the edgeguarding significantly easier, and can even convert off of a stock.
- Can catch her jump.
- Informations :
- Weight : 77 [55th] (light)
- Fall Speed : 1.2 [56th] (floaty)
- Neutral :
- She is a wall who punishes over aggression. So play slowly. But dont camp.
- Stay unpredictable with how I take out Luma and how I approach.
- However, the second Luma is gone, she can't really escape my juggles and attacks that well.
- Nair on their shield is relatively safe as long as you don't land in her face
- fadeaway Fair and Bair is good since she's so tall
- Be careful of where Luma is. Do not pummle.
- React to her options in neutral and not throw anything out unless reaction.
- She becomes very bad once Luma is dead. She will likely play defensive or grab
- (throw offstage and get a few extra seconds).
- Keep in mind when Luma will respawn. Takes 12.5 seconds to respawn.
- Her options :
- We don't really have great answers to Uair. Double Uair.
- Her down air has an incredible range.
- Uair can shark under the ledge when I am edgeguarding.
- Rapid jab : SDI up and out and jump.
- I get around luma's jab by hitting luma. or jumping over it : makes her choose between Usmash (if not spaced) or a defensive option.
- Dealing with Luma
- Ftilt, Dtilt, Dsmash, Fsmash
- Dash atk, (prefer over sideB)
- All aerials. (mostly Bair)
- SideB (for DP) Sh the sideB if I want to kill Luma. (Anything can combo into sideB)
- Luma stales our moves
- Grab : Throw : delay slightly. Fthrow/Uthrow.
- If she goes to ledge bair/upair/dair just to kill luma
- After I knock her back very far (outside of combo range), if Luma is behind me, keep shield or hit luma if I am out of it's range. But do not follow her unles she is low.
- If I catch her, do not pummle, throw her immediatly or Luma will hit me.
- Edgeguard / recovery
- Both characters fuck eachother up on edgeguards, so keep that in mind when you're offstage. , so keep those in check when playing Rosalina.
- Not Giving up stage control is extremly important when Luma is up.
- Do not go offstage if Luma is up.Can go offstage when Luma is not
- Jump Dair as a get up option.
- Juggling
- Can juggle her well (air speed, no Breversing, only *2j, large hitbox, f17 Dair, no landing option)
- Kinda easy to react since she has a big hitbox.
- Combos & Kill
- Uair : In the direction she is facing. Toward her if only luma hits me.
- Uthrow>uair/utilt/usmash Bthrow>fair/bair (low percents). Dthrow>fair/uair :
- DI away from her combos.
- Stages
- Maybe ban Fd because no platform to land on.
- Pick Lylat : it can mess up timing for lunar landings, and the ledges are bad for her recovery more often than not. She also doesn't like the platforms against Pit/Dark Pit because they can shark under them to catch her landing with up smash.
- Rosalina likes platforms a lot. allow for her to shark opponents under the platforms thanks to the best Uair in the game. But without them it makes me vulnérable to juggling.
- She kills of the top. BF>DL.
- Her worst stages FD and Duckhunt. Platforms help her on the walling
- T&C's low ceilling and platforms help her for Uair kill set up.
- Pick FD, Lylat
- Ban T&C, BF, DL.
- Note
- Luma makes hitboxes expansions.
- Test : delay the throw to make Luma gets hit by the throw.
- Star Bits are not projectiles.
- Luma can still attack while Rosa is in free fall.
- Dash grab : Rosa grabs when luma dash atks.
