  - jihoon knew nayoon ever since elementary school but she never cared about him. he always had a crush on her but never dared to reach her since she didn't bother to spare a single glance at him. she didn't even know his name until freshman year in high school. he spotted her sitting on a pavement not so far away from his house and finally decided to reach her even if it would cost his head. and so he walked up to her and squatted down in front of her which made her look up, her eyes widening a little. he smiled at her softly and asked her if she was okay. nayoon then just sighed and stood up, nodding her head as she brushed off the dirt from her clothes. she said she was fine, her expression going back to stone cold. since then jihoon kept a closer look on her.

   - beggining: at the start of the story, nayoon keeps seeing him on her way to school and from school but never really pays attention to him since she focuses on her studies and her mind is filled with thoughts about the competition. then jihoon proceeds to reach her when he finds her sulking on the street because of all the stress and pressure that she puts on her own shoulders herself, trying to be the best in everything.
   - middle: jihoon eventually collects his all confidence and starts talking to her more and more often, which leads to them becoming friends. he tries to help her taim down her pride because he's so sure that if she keeps putting her pride first before anything else, then she will end up hurt. he does everything to make her warm up to him more and realize that she doesn't need to be the absolutely best in everything. this leads to a series of arguments because nayoon is just too stubborn and sometimes feels like he wants to control her. in this stage of their relationship it's more downs than ups but he still doesn't give up, even though she starts pushing him away again.
   - end: slowly nayoon starts realizing what he was trying to tell her the whole time as she starts constantly breaking down because the more she focuses on dancing the more her grades go down and she isn't that perfect student anymore. she also realizes that it's not bad to have people who take care of her and love her once he confesses to her and finally warms up her heart.
