The CyBug Hybrids

   Darkness. Darkness is all they knew for years. They knew light, but lost it when the armored ones came and killed their children. They escaped, and were forced into the darkness. Within their chrysalis, they dreamed. Of war, death, and blood.
 "Today." the king thought, "Today we will be free to rule again."
   Vanellope was preparing for a shooting spree in Hero's Duty. She had put her armor on, and was putting her half of the coin in a bag to carry. As she was putting it in she looked at the signature Rancis put on it and smiled. Despite the codeing incident, they were closer than ever. She glitched to her kart and drove to Rancis's house. When she got there he was still putting on his armor. "Wow, it only took me 5 minutes to put mine on." she joked. Rancis just glared at her while he was putting on his boot. She glitched over and lightly punched his arm, "Come on grouchy, we're gonna be late. You got your coin?" He showed his half of the coin, "Sorry if I seem tired, I didn't get much sleep." Vanellope looked at him with a concerned look, but suddenly began to smirk. She grabbed his face and kissed him, causing Rancis to shudder with pleasure. "You awake now?" she asked, and he just nodded his head. Vanellope chuckled and grabbed his hand. She led him to his kart and they drove to Hero's Duty together.
   Under the ground, she awoke. The queen left her cocoon, and breathed in the stale air. She looked at her arms, they were cracking and white. She knew her king would be in a worse condition, the time in their chrysalis should have stopped them from aging, but they had failed. She suddenly remembered something, that for the first time in decades, made her cry. In this state she could not have children, and the ones she could here outside weren't hers. They were the decendents of her only living daughter, Vespix. She and her king would go to her, but their own child beytrayed them in the war, having made an alliance with the armored ones, helping them kill her brethren. The Queen could remember her daughters name, but not her own. She felt herself dying, and knew that her king would die soon after she did, but she sensed something. She felt something young near them, something that would allow them to live again. Her lover felt it as well, as he began to wake. He burst out of his cocoon and fell to the ground. He looked at his queen with extreme concern. They heard the sound of gunfire above them, and knew the young ones were close. They used the last of their energy to set a trap. They began to wait.
   Vanellope and Rancis were killing the CyBugs as fast as they could. Calhoun ran up next to them, and Ralph and Felix weren't far behind. The other Rushians joined them this time, wanting to see what it was like. Vanellope looked up at the tower and gasped; at the top of the tower was a huge CyBug human hybrid. The other Rushians looked up as well and had a similar reaction. The CyBug was surprisingly beautiful, she had neon green outlines all over her body, her legs were slender and smooth. Her arms looked powerful, as if they could break mountains, but they also looked as regal as the rest of her body. Her more distinguishing characteristics were her wings and face; her wings were long and beautiful, and when not in use wrapped around her like a shawl. Her face was surprisingly the most human, she had beautiful green eyes, and what appeared to be a head dress resting on her head. Calhoun noticed the racers reactions and laughed, "You guys haven't met Vespix have you? She's never really out, so it's now or never." she looked up at the hybrid and yelled, "Vespix! I want you to meet some friends of mine!" Vespix flew down with a soft boom as she hit the ground. She was huge, a lot bigger than the King CandyBug. She gave the children a soft smile, "Hello, I have heard much about you from Tamora." her voice was mechanical, but it had a sweet tone to it. While she and the other racers talked ,Vanellope and Rancis noticed a green flash. Vespix seemed to notice it as well, but she decided to ignore it. The two racers curiosity was peaked, so they decided to see where the light came from. The rest of the group went off to kill more CyBugs, leaving Calhoun and Vespix alone. "What were you doing on the tower Ves?" Calhoun asked. "I was thinking.... Of the war." Calhoun sighed, "That was a horrible first plug-in day. Didn't help that it felt like a year of war. Markowski will never be the same." Vespix just stared into the distance, "I wish I could forget about it. My parents are still alive Tamora, and if they come back they will be more powerful, and I might not be able to stop them." Calhoun realized that Vanellope and Rancis were missing, "Vespix did you see where the kids went?" Vespix thought for a moment, "They went with the other racers I believe. If they aren't there I'll fly around and look for them."
   The King and Queen heard the young ones come into their cave. They were talking, but the queen could not hear them. The king was to weak to even listen. When they reached the chamber the 2 CyBugs hid. "Whoa, this place hasn't been touched in years!" Rancis said. Vanellope looked at the wall and saw the cocoons, "Look at how big those things are!" They decided to strike. The queen grabbed the girl, and the king grabbed the boy. Before the children could react, they were swallowed. The transformation was painful. Their faces elongated, their skin was burned off to be replaced by the armor they absorbed, and they felt their organs being replaced with healthier ones. Before they had time to relax and look at their new forms, the king began to cough. Falling to the ground he threw up the boy, who was naked with a tiny bag next to him. The queen followed shortly after him, throwing up the girl, who was naked as well, with a similar bag. After taking a few moments to relax, they looked at each other. The kings eyes were a solid sky blue. His face was enlogated and handsome. His body was larger, covered in the same armor their enemy's used. His most beautiful and powerful feature was his hair. It was golden and slightly long. But it floated, as if it was defying gravity. The queen was beautiful. Her new raven hair  was long and elegant. Her eyes were green with a light brown ring round them. Her face was beatiful and long. Her body was covered in the same armor her king had. She smiled at her king, and he smiled at his queen. "We shall make this world our own... Cyancis." the king liked his newfound name, and gave the queen hers. "Not just this world Cynellope, but the other worlds as well! We will make them our's to control!" Cynellope looked at Cancis, "We will need an army. I need help in making one." After saying this CyBug instincts took control. The queen pinned her mate to the floor and began sticking him to it using webbing she produced, and as instinct made her, forced him to mate. The male tries to fight back, but the queens strength and webbing holds him down. The process took 30 minutes, ending with the king passed out and stuck on the wall, and the queen laying large eggs. Their army was made, now they had to wait.
   Vanellope and Rancis woke up feeling cold. They slowly got up and looked around. In the darkness they could barley see anything but each other. It took a few moments to realize that they were naked, and instantly tried to cover themselves. They heard a laugh somewhere in the cave, "Ah, they're awake." The children looked at a wall near them, and saw a huge CyBug hybrid stuck to it. "Sorry about introducing myself like this. Cynellope is a more.... Frisky now than before the war. I think she got that from you Ms. Von Schweetz." Cycis looked at Rancis, "I have to admit Mr. Fluggerbutter, you have fine taste in women. If your memories serve Vanellope is quite the girl." Rancis looked at Cyancis quizzically, "H-how do you know our names, and how can you see my memories?" The king chuckled, "It's because I have your memories Rancis. They aren't mine though. It's more like, I read a book about you, and I can't really forget about it." The room was suddenly filled with green light. The source were the millions of large eggs. Rancis finally saw the kings face, and it was his, but older. "Your me." Rancis said with an emotionless tone. Cyancis broke out of his cocoon, bits of hardened webbing and rocks almost hit the racers. "We aren't you. We just borrowed your coding to be reborn. Oh, and we decided to take your names. I am Cyancis." A large figure fell from the celeing, "And I am Cynellope." Vanellope looked at the queen fearfully, seeing what was basically her face on a CyBug body scared her beyond belief. The eggs began to hatch, and Ranis and Vanellope were scared, knowing that the CyBug offspring take similar forms to their parents. They didn't want their faces to be on these monsters.
   The CyBug offspring were huge. Much larger than the normal ones. Vanellope and Rancis gave a small sigh of relief, the bugs didn't look like them. They looked like more advanced versions of the CyBugs outside. They began to climb over the king and queen. The king looked at his children, "Now my offspring, fly. Began the end of the world!" The CyBugs broke out of the cave, and onto the battlefield. Cyancis followed shortly after them, laughing insanely. Cynellope looked at the children, "Oh, I made these for you. So you wouldn't get cold." Cynellope threw down some webbing that was shapped to form underwear. "Have a fun time down here you two." the queen said as she flew out of the cave. Vanellope grabbed the new cloth, "It seems safe. At least we won't be naked anymore." She put the cloth on and felt slightly warmer. Rancis was covering himself when Vanellope passed him the fabric. As he was putting it on Vanellope picked one of the egg pieces. It was surprisingly warm. The warmth reminded her of one of Ralphs hugs, and the heat felt comforting. Rancis began to walk around the cave, and saw a green light near a rock. "Hey Van! Am I the only one seeing something glowing over there?" The racers slowly walked over to the glow, and gasped. The source of the light was 2 eggs. The eggs were smaller than the ones produced by the queen; they were around the same size as normal eggs. "Why haven't they hatched yet?" Vanellope said. She was getting ready to touch one when Rancis stopped her, "Vanellope! Don't touch it! We don't know what they would do if they hatched." The sounds of battle were above them, "We need to find a way out." Vanellope said. The racers searched for an exit, but couldn't find one. Despite the war going on outside Vanellope began to yawn. Rancis felt tired as well, "We need to rest Van." Vanellope was already dozing off, so Rancis picked her up and softly put her on the ground. He lied down next to her, and they each held each other close to keep warm. While they slept, the eggs began to shake.
   Calhoun looked at the battlefield in horror. Her soldiers were dying and resurrecting in large numbers. For every advanced CyBug they killed 2 more replaced it. Vespix and Cynellope were battling in the air, each receiving the same amount of hits from each other. Cyancis was killing a large amount of soldiers. He saw Calhoun and began to run towards her with a slasher smile. Calhoun lifted her riffle in a futile attempt to stop the colossus, "Burn in hell you son of a-" right when she fired her gun something burst from a building. The figure slammed right into Cyancis, and slammed him on the ground. Calhoun looked on in awe, "Vander. Thank god." Calhoun ran to find shelter while the giants fought. Felix and Ralph came back from returning the racers to their game, so they wouldn't get hurt. "Tammy! You find the kids yet?" Felix asked. Calhoun looked at her husband and the wrecker, "I haven't, but I know they're alive. The king and queen are from the beta stage, they can only consume things from here, so Vanellope and Rancis weren't eaten." Ralph was beginning to get angry, "Then why do those things look like them!?" Calhoun was getting ready to punch the wrecker, but calmed down. "It seems that the king and queen consumed some of their coding, that's why they look like them." Ralph still looked confused, and while Calhoun tried to explain, the King fought the prince.
   "Look at you. Look at how much you've grown!" Cyancis grabbed Vanders hands so he couldn't cut or punch him. "Vander, you don't have to do this. You were always my favorite. Join me, help me kill the armored ones." Vander bit into his neck, and pushed him back, "You were always manipulative. It won't work on me father, not like before." The king shot towards him, and pushed himself, and his son to the air. Vespix and Cynellope were attacking each other in the sky. Despite all the hits Cynellope received, she healed from them instatley. "Why won't you die!?" The queen punched Vespix in the stomach, "Because sweetie, my coding is unique now. I can also do this." Cynellope burst into coding, and reformed behind her daughter, "I can do anything." she whispered to Vespix. She grabbd her daughter and began to dive towards the ground, "Despite your betrayal" they hit the ground like a meteorite, and Cynellope rose from the crater above her daughters unconscious body, "I forgive you."
   The children were woken up by a sudden explosion from outside, but it wasn't the explosion that scared them, it was the egg shells they found. They heard something scuttling around them, and they tried to find it while it was still young. They heard movement behind them, and when they turned around, something latched onto their faces. They both fell to the ground, while trying to get the bugs off their heads When they finally pulled them off, they were expecting normal CyBug offspring trying to eat their faces, but they were surprised to see something totally different. The CyBugs had human heads, baby human heads. One had Rancis's face, and Vanellopes raven hair, which was slightly long, and very messy. The other had Vanellopes face, with Rancis blonde hair resting on her head. Her hair was slightly longer than the others, and a little bit cleaner. Their eyes were beautiful; they looked like normal CyBug eyes, but their color made them look almost human. The boy had Rancis's eyes with a slight hazel tint, while the girl had Vanellopes eyes, but with a blue green ring around them. They did have the round CyBug bodies, but the light emitted was diffrent. The girls had an emerald glow, while the boy had a reddish-brown. The CyBugs gave the racers a confused look at first, but their expressions changed to a loving one. The racers lightly smiled at the offspring, still wondering what they should do. The boy went on Rancis's head and started to chew his hair, "H-hey! Stop that! You know how long it'll take to fix my hair now?!" Vanellope began to laugh, but stopped when the girl began to cry. The cry was somewhat mechanical, but still heartbreaking to hear. The boy spat out Rancis's hair and began to cry as well, "Hey little guy, what's up?" Rancis said after getting the baby off his head. "Wait, I think they're hungry." Vanellope said, while rocking the baby girl. "Well what do baby CyBugs eat?" Rancis asked. His question was answered when the babies went over to a huge egg shell. When they went near it, the babies began to drool all over it, and whatever the drool touched turned into candy. "Whoa! That's awesome!!" Vanellope said. Rancis looked slightly disgusted, but had to agree, "Yeah it is pretty cool." While the CyBugs ate, another explosion was heard outside. The babies were frightened and scurried over to Vanellope and Rancis for comfort. The war was still going, and the CyBugs were beginning to lose.
   Vander was destroying his father. Even though Cyancis healed from his injurys instantly, Vander was extremely fast, and he was able to make the king feel extreme pain with every blow. "That's.... ENOUGH!" Cyancis screamed, pushing his son off. His arm formed into a plasma riffle, and he fired at his son. Vander dodged each shot, and shot towards his father again. "One last chance father! End this!" Cyancis dived towards Vander, "You insolent child! I will end you!" The 2 colossus hit, a huge explosion was heard. A blast of green light covered the sky. Cynellope looked at the explosion in fear, "No. Please god no." She teleported away from the crater, to her king. When she reached him, the area was destroyed. "Cynellope." a weak voice called out. Cyancis was in a crater, and his body was in shambles. "To many injurys. Death is coming my sweet." Cynellope collapsed next to him, "No, you can heal. Please don't do this. Just live... Please." He stroked her face, "Oh my dear, be strong. I might come back." he coughed up blood, "Oh Cynellope, you are so beautiful. I love you, my queen." He gave her one final kiss, before his body broke away, and turned into code. "No. No god." her crys turned into a mechanical scream. Instinct took over, and she became determined to kill her mates murderer. Vander died on impact, but he would return as soon as the game would reset. The millions of CyBugs came to her, "My children, no more mercy. Everyone dies, everyone." She began to scream again, sending them to end the war.
   The baby CyBugs were going berserk. The robotic scream that the racers had heard were making the babies crazy. They were running around trying to find an exit. Vanellope and Rancis finally grabbed them and tried to calm them down. The CyBugs were thrashing in their arms, but the racers had a strong grip on them. Vanellope was able to get the boy close to her, "Ok you little stinker, you asked for this." She put him on her shoulder and began to pat his back. A sudden and loud belch was heard, and childish, mechanical laughter was soon followed. The girl had stopped struggling in Rancis's arms, and began to laugh at her brothers burp. The boys face looked extremely grumpy, but he was back to normal. The babies jumped out of their arms, and curled up next to each other and began to sleep. It was quite for awhile, but Vanellope broke the silence, "They need names." Rancis thought for a moment, "How about Rancene" Vanellope laughed, "I like it. What about the boy?" Rancis contemplated, "Vancent." Vanellope giggled, "Clever. Hope they like them." The CyBugs chirped in their sleep, as if they were reacting to their new found names. "I think gettin eaten messed with our coding." Vanellope said. Rancis looked at her quizaclly, "What do you mean?" Vanellope sighed, "We just met these babies a few hours ago, and I just want to keep them safe." Before Rancis could reply, another explosion was heard, causing top the of the cave to shake. "Vanellope grab the babies! We need to find shelter now!" Suddenly, a giant hand busted through the cave. When it was removed, a giant eye peered in, an widened in surprise when it saw the children. The hand lightly grabbed the children, and the offspring. When they left the cave, they were greeted by a smiling and injured Vespix. "Your alive! And what's this?" She looked at the babies, which were still somehow asleep. "Looks like their coding is mostly yours. Congratulations." A sudden shout was heard in the distance, "My mother found Tamora. I have to end this." Vespix said to herself. The racers noticed that she looked depressed after saying this. "Stay here." The racers jumped off her hand with the babies. "Stay safe."
    "CALHOUN! Where are you bitch?!" Cynellope was tearing up the terrain, looking for the commander. A huge warship came over the horizon, "Right here you harpy." She started charging the weapons, "Last chance Cynellope! Call of your bugs, and we can make agreements!" Cynellope just stared at the ship, "It's too late for peace. I lost my love because of you." Calhoun was surprised at this statement, "I didn't kill your king Cynellope!" A rock came hurdling towards her; Calhoun narrowly dodged it. "You did it! You could have easily ended it! You killed Cyancis! I'll kill you!" She shot towards the ship, her hands forming into energy cannons. Calhoun fired all the ships weapons at the Titan, "Fall damn you. Fall!" Despite all the shots hitting the queen, she did not give up. She fired her own weapons at the ship, penetrating the hull. "Dammit! If this ship goes down, your going down with it!" Calhoun made the ship take a nose dive. Before she ejected, she made the thrusters go full blast. She entered an escape pod, "If this doesn't kill you" and ejects out of the crashing vessel, "I will." It was a direct hit, and Cynellope was brought to the ground. Yet she rose among the wreckage, "DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WOULD KILL ME!? I AM A GODDESS! I WILL CONSUME EVERYTHING!" Calhoun stared in absolute fear, but suddenly saw something flying towards Cynellope. The queen noticed as well, "Vespix? What are you ARGH!!" The princess formed her arms into blades, and stabbed her mother. The queen collapsed on the ground and coughed up blood. "W-why? Why couldn't you have helped me?!" Cynellope cried. "I'm sorry mother. I had to end this. I can still help you." Cynellope just looked at her daughter, "End this." Vespix gave her a confused look, "What do you" Her mother grabbed her shoulders, "End this! Don't you get it?! KILL ME!! Please just kill me." Cynellope collapsed on the ground, crying so hard she was shaking. "Mother, please. Don't let it get this far. Let me help you." Cynellope looked up at her daughter, "With out your father, I have nothing. We needed each other after your betrayal. We relied on each other, but he's gone. It doesn't help that the childrens coding we used cared too much about each other." Vespix tried to pick up her mother, but Cynellope slapped her arm away. "If you won't do it, I'll do it myself." She formed her finger into a blade, and put it near her neck, "I love you Vespix, please forgive me." Vespix tried to stop her, but she was to late. A fountain of florescent blood covered her face. Vespix looked on in complete horror, "No, mother. God, no." She fell to the ground, tears flowing out of her eyes. Calhoun landed next to her, "Vespix, oh god, I'm sorry." Before she could fully comfort her, her helmet received a message. "What is it Markowski?!" she barked. "Sorry sir, but we found the kids, and well, I can't explain it. You have to see it for yourself." Vespix looked at Calhoun, "Tamora, what you are going to see will shock you. Please try to react rationally." Calhoun was confused at her statement, but decided to agree with her. "I will act rationally."
   Vanellope was sitting on Ralphs shoulder next to Rancis, and the babies were sitting on their laps. "Sooooo, tell me again. How did you guys find...." Vanellope groaned, "Rancene and Vancent." As Vanellope told Ralph their story, Vancent crawled up to Rancis's head, and began to chew his hair, "Hey! What's your obsession with my hair?" He grabbed Vancent, who looked at the racer with a big smile, causing Rancis to smile as well. Rancene looked up at Vanellope, hoping to get her attention, but Vanellope didn't notice her. Rancene began to tear up, and before anyone knew it, she began to cry. "Oh, I'm sorry squirt!" Vanellope said. She picked up Rancene, and threw her up and down, causing the infant to go into a giggle fit. Ralph began to smile at the racers, "Looks like you guys have really taken a liking to the CyBugs." Vanellope stuck her tounge out at Ralph, "They're not CyBugs, they're babies. Vespix did say their coding was mainly ours." An escape pod suddenly flew overhead, and landed near by. Calhoun stepped out, "Ralph! Felix! Are the kids ok?" She said while running towards the group. She suddenly stopped when she saw the CyBug hybrids with the racers. Right when she saw them, she could only think of one thing. Brad. "What the hell are those?" she whispered; Felix stared at her in confusion, "What do ya mean sugar plum?" Her eyes widened in anger, "WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE?!" Vanellope and Rancis jumped down from Ralph and hid behind him, "Whoa Calhoun, calm down." Calhoun smacked Ralph with her helmet, "Calm down?! Do you know what those things would do if they reach full size!? It would be another king and queen!" Felix tried to calm her down, "Sweetie, normal CyBugs are full grown in the span of a few minutes. These babies are around 4 hours old. Kohut was the one to figure out their age." Calhoun moved over to the marine, "Tell me Kohut, how long until those... Things kill us all." Kohut was staring at a holoscreen, "Well to put it simply sir, they won't. The only thing about them that is CyBug is their features. Their coding is mainly Sugar Rushian. Other than looks, they are basically human." Calhoun looked at the screen "Wait. Their scans show.... They have the possibility of the power that the royalty hold. I can't risk them growing." She grabbed a cage from the escape pod. "Sarge, don't do this. I know your reaction towards them is because of Brad. Those kids have bonded with them." She just glared at the solider.
   She pushed Ralph aside, "Hand me the hybrids." Vanellope and Rancis held the babies closer to them, "No. Calhoun, they're fine." Vanellope said. "Dammit. Just give me the damn babies! You have no idea what they can do! I won't let these things turn into Brad!" Vanellope began to glare at Calhoun, "Hold her." She said while giving Rancene to Rancis. "You are only doing this because of your backstory. You have no right to take these babies because you can't let go!" Calhoun just stared at Vanellope, barley even reacting to the child's outburst. She brought out a small rod that produced a beam of light. The babies ignored it, much to her surprise. "That's it." She grabbed the hybrids from Rancis, which was difficult. He held them on tight, but she was to strong, "Please Ms. Calhoun! Don't do this!" Rancis yelled. She finally grabbed them, but Vanellope suddenly glitched in front of her, "Calhoun, please! These babies, we're all they have!" Calhoun continued to ignore the racer, the only thing on her mind was getting the hybrids out of here. She dropped them in the cage and finally got a good look at them. She felt pity, "These things are the product of war." She said emotionless. The babies looked at her, wondering who she was. Calhoun suddenly had a flashback to her wedding day.
   The CyBug had eaten her lover, but he was not dead. It reformed, turning into a hybrid of CyBug, and Brad. Before Calhoun could get her gun, the hybrid gave her a confused look, but it's expression turned into a loving one. "I love you Tammy. Your my dynamite gal." Was the bugs first words, and Brads last. After killing it, Calhoun went on a saddened fueled rampage. It took 3 soilders to hold her down. She came back, and looked at the babies again. They were giving her the same look that Brad gave her. A rage began to bulid up in her, a rage she couldn't control. "Don't you dare LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT!!!" She shouted. She threw the cage on the ground, and brought out her gun, the same one she used to kill Brad. "No! Tamora STOP!" Felix yelled. But it wasn't Felix yelling at her that made her stop, it was the babies crying. It wasn't mechanical, it was human. She looked down at her gun, "Oh my god. What was I getting ready to do?" She dropped her gun, and looked around. The look of shock was on everyone, except for 2. Rancis was giving a look of shock and rage, and Vanellope was missing. Calhoun suddenly heard tiny foot steps running behind her. She knew who it was a prepared herself. Vanellope glitched in front of Calhoun and punched her as hard as she could. "How DARE YOU!!!" Vanellope screamed, "You almost killed innocent babies! WHY!?" The punch barley did anything to Calhoun, and she did the unexpected. She grabbed Vanellope and pulled her into a hug. "I-I'm so sorry. I didn't... I couldn't control myself." she said while softly crying. "I don't care if you hate me forever, but please just forgive me for this."
    Rancis walked over and let Rancene and Vancent out of the cage, "Why did you do it Ms. Calhoun? That's what we really want to know." He said while picking them up. Calhoun looked up at him, and then to the babies, who were shaking in fear. "Rancis, the stress from the battle, and memories that suddenly began to flood back. I-I couldn't control myself. I didn't mean to hurt them." She suddenly felt someone squeeze her; Vanellope began to hug back. "I can never hate you Tammy." She looked up, "But what you did, it will take time to forgive that." Calhoun nodded, "I can agree with that." Vanellope let go of the commander and went over to the hybrids. "Where are they going to live?" Vanellope asked. "Well, they are basically yours. I think they should live with you." Calhoun said. "R-really?! Ralph! Can they live with us?!" Vanellope said, getting excited. "I don't think it's my decision. It's yours and Rancis's" Vanellope turned to Rancis, "Well butterfingers?" Rancis looked down at the babies, "Yeah. They can live with us." Vanellope squeaked and pulled Rancis into a tight hug, kissing his face all over. The babies were giggling at their new found parents. Ralph and Felix looked on with warm smiles. "Who would have thought the kid would be the one to have kids first." Ralph eyes widened in shock, "Wait.... They are technically parents now. Should we be worried?" Felix chuckled, "Oh they'll be fine brother! I think those babies are in good hands." Vanellope glitched over to Ralph while holding Vancent, "Come on! We need to get to Sugar Rush!"
   The racers were gathered around the castle. "Where are they? You don't think they got eaten do you?" Minty asked. "Minty, it's Vanellope. She has the strongest people in the arcade as her family. Shes fine." The racer said. "But what if they aren't?!" Candlehead screamed, tears falling down her face. Gloyd pulled her into a hug, "They're fine Candle. Trust me." An escape pod suddenly landed next to the racers. Vanellope voice came from inside, "My regal subjects! May I introduce you to" Rancis jumped out with Vancent and Vanellope jumped out with Rancene, "The newest members of Sugar Rush!" The racers looked on in confusion, "Are those... Baby CyBugs?" Taffyta asked. "Not CyBugs. They are technically our babies" Rancis said while lightly rocking Vancent. Candlehead ran up to them, "Awwww! They are so cute! What are their names?" Rancene tightened her grip on Vanellope, being shy around the new people. "Their names are Vancent and Rancene. Come on sweetie say hi to auntie Candlehead." Rancene put her face in Vanellopes chest, but Vancent jumped out of Rancis's arms and went over to see the other racers. Rancene noticed her brothers bravery, and decided to join him. Gloyd picked up Vancent, "So, you guys are parents?" Vanellope and Rancis nodded, "Awesome!" He started to tickle Vancent, "Are you gonna help me pull some pranks little guy?" Vancent was laughing extremely hard. Rancene went over to Minty, "Hey sweetie! Wanna hang out with me huh?" Minty picked her up, and the other racers gathered around her and Gloyd. The babies suddenly began to yawn, "We have had a long day. They need sleep. Come here you little stinkers." She passed Rancene to Rancis, "You guys can hang out with these brats tomorrow. We need to get some sleep as well." The new family walked to the castle, "Oh, and we are gonna need babysitters. Just thought you guys should know." The racers gave each other excited looks over the job.
    Vanellope ignored her servants concern over her and walked straight up to her room with Rancis. "Ok brats, welcome to your new home!" The babies were already asleep, so the racers lightly put them the bed. "Looks like these guys are here to stay." Rancis said, "You know, they are as cute as you Van." Vanellope just stared at him, "You just said that so I would kiss you." Before Rancis could even answer she grabbed him, and gave him a long kiss. "I'm tired. Let's change into our pajamas and get into bed." She said to a blushing Rancis. After changing, they carefully got into bed; Vanellope lightly kissed Rancene and Vancent. "Good night Rancis." She said after softly kissing his lips, "Good night Van" he replied while stroking her cheek. They both fell asleep around the same time. Nearby, in Fix-It Felix Jr, Calhoun and Ralph were playing cards while Felix has getting something to eat. "So you think the kids are ok?" Ralph asked. "I'm sure they're fine." Calhoun said in a slightly sad tone. "You know you couldn't control yourself. Anger can do that to people. I, of all people, should know that." Calhoun gave a soft smile to the wrecker, "Thanks Wreck-It. That means a lot." Ralph suddenly sighed, "They are parents. I'm not really sure how to feel about it." Calhoun chuckled, "They really do love those offspring. Plus we are going to be there if they need help." Ralph nodded in agreement. "Ok! Diners ready!" Felix yelled. The commander and wrecker grabbed everything off the plate, not even bothering to use forks. Felix couldn't help chuckling at his wife and brothers actions.
   Back at Sugar Rush, Rancene woke up crying, and woke up Vancent with her. They noticed that their parents didn't even react, so they cried even louder, "Fine! I'm awake!" Rancis said while grabbing both of them, "Vanellope, I'm gonna get them something to eat, don't help or anything." He said sarcastically. "Don't give me that tone." She said, her voice muffled by her pillow. She got up and led him to the kitchen. The rest of the night was spent by the the family raiding the pantry. "You know. I can get used to this." Rancis said while wiping Vancents face. "So can I" Vanellope replied, trying to get Rancene away from a box of cereal. Sour Bill entered the kitchen and groaned. The racers had fallen passed out, and the babies had fallen asleep on their heads. He had to admit though, they did look happy.
