- "Uh, nothing. Just thinking about how much you've grown since I left. Last time I saw you, you were little more than an ankle biter. You've grown into a, ugh, fine young woman."
- >You cringe internally at that.
- >She's grown alright.
- >In more ways than one.
- >You're sitting on a bench next to a lake right outside of town.
- >You got here just a few days ago and have been going around checking up on old friends.
- >Some of them haven't changed at all.
- >Some of them are like completely different people.
- >Sweetie Belle, the younger sister of your close friend Rarity, is one of the latter.
- >When you last saw her, she was still in middle school.
- >Now...
- >She giggles a little.
- >"Well, thanks Anon. And you've grown into a finer young man."
- >You give a small smile.
- >"Anyways, I think we've been sitting for long enough, I want to get wet."
- >Some rather naughty thoughts entered your mind unbidden at that.
- >Dear god, pls help
- "Alright, alright. Let's go."
- >She pulls you up and attempts to tug you towards the water's edge.
- >As you stand there, looking at the semi-murky liquid sloshing at the shore, Sweetie suddenly dashes forward.
- >Her as she gets ankle deep in the water, she turns around begins to splash you with it.
- >"What are you waiting for Nonny? Take your shirt off and get in here!"
- >You quickly whip off your t-shirt and throw it aside.
- >Sweetie, however, doesn't let up.
- >By the time your feet actually touch the water, you're already soaking wet.
- >You charge in, past Sweetie, and turn around.
- "You think you're funny, dontcha?"
- >Her smile falters as yours grows wider.
- "Let's see how you like it."
- >You take a step towards her.
- >"Haha, ok Anon, you've made your point, I don't-
- >She starts to backpedal.
- >Too late.
- >She squeals as you lunge forward and grab her.
- >"Non, d-don't!"
- >You carry her until you're in waist deep.
- >You launch her towards the deeper water, which she hits with a satisfying splash.
- >Her head emerges a moment later.
- >She doesn't look too happy.
- >However, the glum look on her pretty, youthful face, combined with her long hair clumping together in comical shapes, only makes you want to laugh.
- >And you do.
- >"What? What's so funny?!"
- >You pause for a second, only to burst into even louder laughter.
- >She pouts at you for a second, before she finally sees her reflection in the water.
- >She begins to chuckle.
- >Soon the two of you are are practically in hysterics, bent over in laughter.
- >You're the first to come back down.
- >Maybe she hasn't changed as much as you thought.
- >You spend a bit more time splashing each other before the two of decide you've had enough.
- >As she exits the water, you lag behind her.
- >You can't help but stare at her beautiful young body, wet and glistening in the afternoon sun.
- >Goddamn, you need to snap out of this.
- >She's your friend's kid sister, for God's sake!
- >And yet, a part of you doesn't care.
- >It doesn't care that you knew her since she was a little kid.
- >It doesn't care that you're 23 while she's barely 18.
- >Somewhere along the way, you realize that you are now driving back to Rarity's house.
- >"Hey Anon?"
- >You give Sweetie Belle a quick glance.
- "Yeah?"
- >"I've been wondering..."
- "Yeah?"
- >"Well..."
- "...Yeah?"
- >"Do you have a girlfriend?"
- >...
- >Oh brother.
- "No, no I don't. Why do you ask?"
- >She shrugs and looks away nonchalantly.
- >"Oh, no reason."
- >She couldn't mean what you think she means?
- >She looks out the window for moment, watching the scenery pass by.
- >"You know, my 18th birthday is in a week. I was wondering if you wanted to come."
- "Of course I'll come Sweetie. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
- >As you say this, you quickly reach over and tussle her still damp hair.
- >She giggles and playfully shoves your arm away.
- "S-stop! You'll ruin my hair!"
- >You chuckle.
- >You need to stop thinking like that.
- >Get your mind out of the gutter, Anon.
- >Her body may be that of a woman, but she's still the fun loving kid you knew, right?
- >You pull into Rarity's driveway and get out.
- >Sweetie Belle does so as well.
- >You are about to start walking up the stairs to their porch when you hear running behind you.
- >"Hey Anon, think fast!"
- "Whu-"
- >Sweetie hug tackles you.
- >Thankfully, she doesn't weigh much, and you're a big guy.
- >For her, anyways.
- >"Thanks again for taking me to the lake, Anon! You know how busy Rarity is nowadays, and since my friends couldn't come and all."
- "Again, it was no problem Sweetie. It's not like I didn't have pleasant company.
- >She pulls away and looks deeply into your eyes, a slight flush to her cheeks.
- >Or maybe this is just your imagination, and that's just a bit of sunburn.
- >"Anon, Sweetie? What ARE you two just doing just standing out there?"
- "Oh, heh, sorry Rares, Sweetie here was just thanking me for taking her to the lake. Yup, just that, nothing strange going on here!"
- >Rarity, standing at the threshold of the doorway, raises an eyebrow at you.
- >"...Okay. Well get in here, you two. You're still a bit wet and I don't want you getting pneumonia or something!"
- >"Alright Rarity!"
- >Sweetie bounds past you into the house.
- >You follow in after Rarity.
- >"I have your clothes all washed and ironed, darling. I thought it'd be nice to go out later and get something to eat with the girls.
- "Thanks Rares. What who's all going?"
- >"Twilight, Sunset, Rainbow, Applejack, and Sweetie Belle's friends, Scootaloo and Applebloom."
- "What about Pinkie?"
- >"She couldn't make it. Family matters."
- "Ah. Well, we'll make do."
- >You head up to the guest room Rarity so graciously offered you and change.
- >She so sweet, that Rarity.
- >What would you do without her?
