  9. β”Š i really want this self-obsessed boy to be lovable just
  10. β”Š because i love him and there are tons of narcissistic
  11. β”Š characters out there that are so annoyingly lovable like
  12. β”Š mystic messenger's zen, who i based a lot of superbia's
  13. β”Š character off because zen's story was highly similar to
  14. β”Š what i'd imagine superbia to go through)
  15. β”Š
  16. β”Š i elaborated a lot on why he's so narcissistic now to the
  17. β”Š point that it's like his background. and you'll encounter
  18. β”Š a character in the later part of the story that i'm thinking
  19. β”Š to elaborate more on since i think it'd be interesting if
  20. β”Š superbia and that character (known as his friend that took
  21. β”Š him in) became lovers along the way where that certain friend
  22. β”Š had loved him since their beginning in the dance studio though
  23. β”Š superbia fell somewhere during the time when he was taken in.
  24. β”Š if my oc works as superbia and no one wants him as a love
  25. β”Š interest, i'll make that friend the love interest!

  34. β”Š
  35. β”Š he'd suppose it came from all the praise that built
  36. β”Š up from his younger years, where the boy had harassed
  37. β”Š by strangers as they followed him to touch him or
  38. β”Š take pictures of him. he'd been highly bothered by it
  39. β”Š then, but grew to get used to it. even so, among his
  40. β”Š family, superbia would constantly be criticized by his
  41. β”Š mother who contradicted all the praises he got. she'd
  42. β”Š frequently call him ugly and would occasionally beat
  43. β”Š the boy when it came to superbia asking her why she'd
  44. β”Š think that despite what other people said. the only
  45. β”Š person then who superbia could confide in was his
  46. β”Š father, who would explain that his mother was only
  47. β”Š saying those things to 'protect him' from being used
  48. β”Š by others due to his appearance. she wanted him to
  49. β”Š think that he wasn't handsome, fearing that he would
  50. β”Š follow the steps of other handsome men in becoming
  51. β”Š unscrupulous and thus damaging the family name.
  52. β”Š
  53. β”Š as he entered middle school, superbia started gaining
  54. β”Š confidence due to his looks after being praised by
  55. β”Š both teachers and other students, the latter group
  56. β”Š even growing to admire the boy. these years had also
  57. β”Š brought superbia to discover his passion for dancing
  58. β”Š and he'd started spending time after school to do so.
  59. β”Š he neglected studying and began to pursue his hobby,
  60. β”Š one hidden from his parents in fear that they'd
  61. β”Š attempt to stop him.
  62. β”Š
  63. β”Š but it's turned out that superbia was so popular and
  64. β”Š well-praised by the community that word spread about
  65. β”Š his dancing skills and eventually, the boy's parents
  66. β”Š found out. it was then that he'd also realised that
  67. β”Š his father had began siding with his mother for him
  68. β”Š to drop his silly hobby and diligently study. he'd
  69. β”Š later ran away from home and sought help from a close
  70. β”Š friend from the dance studio superbia practiced at,
  71. β”Š who had taken him in. superbia's parents had never put
  72. β”Š in the effort to look for him, and while the boy
  73. β”Š would be lying if he'd said that he was hurt because
  74. β”Š of it, especially as he'd looked up to his dad a lot,
  75. β”Š he didn't let it bother him afterwards. superbia began
  76. β”Š to become caught up with his love for performing and
  77. β”Š eventually, he started taking people's words highly
  78. β”Š to heart. after all, he became sensitive from the
  79. β”Š words of his parents and thus, he'd became self-
  80. β”Š obsessed. he began to feel highly left out when he
  81. β”Š didn't become involved in a certain project, and he
  82. β”Š was highly sensitive to what people would think of
  83. β”Š his appearance. the boy needs lots of praise and when
  84. β”Š not given it, he'd praise himself.

  91. β”Š
  92. β”Š superbia is a good leader in different ways, but the main
  93. β”Š reasons he'd been chosen for the spot had been because
  94. β”Š he was confident in his own capabilities, good at speaking,
  95. β”Š decisive, resilient and empathetic. coming for a rough
  96. β”Š background like his, superbia has long gotten used to
  97. β”Š criticism and attention so he's often one who can comfort
  98. β”Š the other members if it ever becomes too much. he's
  99. β”Š persuasive and while the other members may not pay too
  100. β”Š mind to what superbia says due to his supposed big ego,
  101. β”Š he's good with ideas and decisions, being a mature one
  102. β”Š that thinks well in difficult situations.
