  1. First, I want to apologize for the big rant I went on on October 16th when the AGDQ 2020 schedule was revealed. While my concerns I voiced (having nothing to do at the event, for example) were valid and somewhat understandable, the degree to which I exploded about those concerns in my posts was unwarranted, especially when I started to beg for people to hang out with me at the event and even posted a borderline conspiracy theory about the committee not wanting me at the event that has no root in facts, both of which not doing me any favors. After all, the people making the schedule couldn't have known my specific situation and even if they did, they couldn't cater to it because the time of day for each run is tough to decide.

  3. That being said, figuring out what to do at AGDQ will be tough. My main reason for going was the very real possibility of participating in the horror block, especially given that Fatal Frame is having its first major marathon appearance there; Then, the opportunity was gone as soon as my hopes had gone up for it. It's a horror series I'm passionate about given my love for the 5th game, I run games from that series (mainly the Nintendo-released ones for those wondering), and I know the runner who's showcasing the game, and I would be heartbroken if I can't participate in the run in some way. The situation with that is a work-in-progress, but I really hope that, in the end, I get to put my mark on the horror block at GDQ.

  5. That being said, it's not all over in terms of being a runner at the event. The 2nd wave of submissions for new games released after August 1st is coming up, going from November 13th-20th, and I will likely be stocked up with games for that. I've ran Blair Witch and brought my time down, and Luigi's Mansion 3 is coming out on Halloween, which I preordered so I can play on launch day. I'm also suspecting some real fire games will come out in this new submission period from established GDQ runners, namely Bryonato potentially submitting Control and the Pokémon runners out there potentially submitting Sword/Shield.
