Aannu Thorson hops on to the boat and begins by sailing off towards an island near Sunagakure. They had already conquered this land so it was mostly a safe trip with them investing money to increase their defenses and technology. They provided food for the natives showing them they weren't tyrants. He briefly took a few moments to practice with his essence control on the trip there trying to understand how it worked.<1><br><br>

Aannu used all speak to convey his reasons and left orders for the natives to follow. Laws and structures would be created as they created a Chain of command. His understanding of essence hasn't gotten much better as from what he saw it was his life energy in a way. It was highly attuned to three different elements. Two of them came from his mother one from his father.<2><br><br>

While they moved on to the next island Aannu started an exercise utilizing the surface walking technique to move up surfaces like the Mast of the ship. He would practice for a bit until they arrive at their destination. Once they found the island they were going to be empty. Aannu shrugs and told his men to simply mark it on the map as he goes to place a flag upon it marking it to belong to the Wild Hunt.<3><br><br>

"It's not an exciting gig as most of them are weaklings. But it pays well and gives you a better world view." He explains to Yongzhe as he lazes about on the ship. He continues to work on his control over his essence to understand it. How did his body produce it? Did he take in energy from the world or something or does it simply generate it? He couldn't say he was a scholar or anything but he continues to prod as he realizes his physical abilities alone would not help him.<4><br><br>

The next island they reached was one that was filled with people, people that were not under their rule. Aannu gathered his weapons and gesture for Yongzhe to follow. "Finally. It's time for fun." He approached the natives glancing at them as he explains what was going to happen. His band of pirates was ready to battle if they decided to fight back. He briefly checked his essence reserves utilizing surface walkers to walk across the ocean to reach the landmass to get a gauge of the native's reactions.<5><br><br>

Aannu Thorson grins as he found their reactions to be amusing. They whispered in awe and fear from the simple act of walking on water and a man with wings. After a few seconds. Aannu realized these individuals were primitive. "They don't know what essence is....or techniques...This is gonna be easy. Don't murder them. Just wow them."<6><br><br>

He leaps into the crowd and swings his hammer downwards producing a shockwave of lightning in his wake. The man sent many of their warriors flying in the various direction as he allowed lightning to cloak his form. He speaks in their native tongue.<7><br><br>

"You worshipped false idols and the stone forge has come to punish you! Thor, Odin, Hel. These are the true gods." He swings once more destroying a statue of their 'god'. He proceeds to raid and pillage the village taking food and valuables on his rampage. His mastery of essence related techniques grew while he fought. While his reserves were smaller than his stamina based ones. He was able to utilize small techniques in rapid succession.<8><br><br>

The gap between there strength was so massive that Aannu could afford to not kill them. He left them broken, defeated and afraid but did not raise a hand to finish the job. After all, Gun'na needed people to live on this island. Once he finished destroying their way of life. He would leave them with a message. 'Rebuild statues that would please us and we will reward you'.<9><br><br>

The same game he played with the previous island. He played the role of an angry harbinger of destruction and then the role of a benevolent man who bears knowledge and gifts. For people like this? It worked pretty well....a little too well but he doubts this sorta information will ever be placed in the history books. He soon walks across the waves once more reaching the ship and rolled his shoulders.<10><br><br>

"One more Island and we'll head back. Ready?"
Aannu Thorson shrugs as he spoke up as he continued his practice. "Very easy cause they don't know what essence is, or mana, or natural energy. They probably don't even worship real gods. Just a ball with a face drawn on it."  He snorts as he sits cross-legged. He felt like he knew what essence was about now. The life energy that was created in the human body from taking in natural energy.<11><br><br>

"Set sail for the last island for the day chuck. I got shit to do! I don't wanna spend all my time with yall!" He calls out in mock anger. They all laughed as they moved on to the last island in which Aannu gave Yongze the same plan. They left the ship utilizing essence and natural abilities to cross the ocean to approach them.<12><br><br>

He spoke to them utilizing All speak to further put them on edge as he spoke in their native tongue his terms and where he was from. Did it seem this time around? Violence would not be required. The chief of the tribe simply gave up and determined them as gods and immediately begin to build a statue in their names.<13><br><br>

Aannu nods as he invested some funds into furthering their technology and medicine. He brought them different foods and left stating he would return in a few months to check on their progression. He summons a thunderstorm to make his point clear through the use of essence and leaves.<14><br><br>

He soon arrives back on the boat and rolled his shoulders. "See? Easy. Let's head home." He allows his cloak of lightning to die down and rest for the remainder of the trip. "So my next plan is to gauge. Kumogakure's defenses. See how many guards they got. See if they got any weakness or if they got to shit or anything and then start abusing it for later cause they're an individual I want to kill."<15><br><br>
