  15. Aim somewhere in the middle of this cluster. Variance is so strong in Sapphire that you'll get the three target Mudkips about as often as any other.

  21. This Mudkip has very few weaknesses and can use some of the fastest strats in Sapphire.
  22.  
  23. Its main benefit is being able to outspeed T&L. This requires getting the Carbos and lake candy, but it's still a major time save. Also, great Sp. Atk and Sp. Def IVs make it easier to Torrent sweep the fight (sadly, such low HP decreases the Torrent window).

  25. Having 23 IV +Speed grants this Mudkip nearly all of the other key +Speed benefits: faster than Calvin's Zigzagoon, Wattson's Magnemite, CTB's Wingull and Jared's Doduo. You also speedtie Matt's Sharpedo.

  27. Although 25 IV Attack isn't great, it does everything it needs to. You don't have to fight Timmy to get the Attack for Rival 2 or Wattson, and as a result, you can set up the second X Attack on Archie's Mightyena and avoid heal range on Golbat. You do need either Lv. 33 or 3 X Attacks on Rival 3, but this is a problem for most Mudkips and can be resolved with little to no time loss.

  29. Great Sp. Atk is far from necessary in Sapphire, but it helps a few ranges, such as Kylee's Swablu and Winona's Skarmory. Great Sp. Def has a similar effect, lowering damage taken on key fights such as Rival 2.

  31. The main weakness for this Mudkip probably comes from the first rival fight. Treecko does 4 damage with Pound, and you have only 20 HP, so you're much more likely to die if you miss or get crit. The high defense IV takes over after that, allowing you to survive 2 Facades from Norman's Slaking at L29, among other benefits.
