- Excel file, updated March 30, 2025
- https://pixeldrain.com/u/8zycndgA
- Hey guys, it's the spreadsheet anon. I wanted to share the actual Excel file with you just in case I disappear.
- A few notes:
- 1. Columns A-H are what I screenshot, with A, C, D, and E being auto-generated based on the data in I and K-N.
- 2. Column I stores the date and time in Pacific time zone (where I live). Column I is formatted to display the date, and J the time... I don't remember why I did that. If the time is 12:00 am (midnight) Pacific, enter the time as "12:00:01".
- 3. The "tags" in column K affect bolding/underlining. They'll also add notes to the text lists in column S (P=Postponed, C=Cancelled, D=Delayed, R=Rescheduled).
- 4. The rounds info in columns L-N should be oubvious, though M "Subround" is optional. This gets appended in column C (and the column S text output). I use S for sprint races and sometimes numbers when one event has multiple races.
- 5. Columns P and Q are used to help do the highlighting with conditional formatting, shouldn't need to touch these.
- 6. I don't remember wtf column R does, but it's used in S...
- 7. Column S is what generates the lists. Just copy paste the rows for the current week. Unfortunately, Excel surrounds the multi-line rows with quotes, so you'll have to remove those (I paste into notepad and do a find/replace-all).
- 8. Row 1 is headers, so you can filter and sort.
- 9. Cell S1 is used to shift the current highlighting forward/backward one or more weeks. T1 is used to shift by days (setting T1 to 7 is the same as setting S1 to 1). I use that on Sundays when prepping the list for the next weekend, to make the next week green.
- 10. When making a screenshot, I filter the date for "After" some day in the current week (usually Mon or Tue), then select cells A1 though H and enough rows to cover 5 weeks, or whatever. Then Ctrl+C copy, paste into MS Paint (easier than taking a screenshot), and save.
- 11. When adding new events, I usually just copy paste an existing row to ensure formulas and formatting transfer correctly, then clear out the editable details. It's a pain, but whatever.
