  7. This is a continuation from my topic near the end on 2016, which you can find here.

  9. I've also added and removed many games from the previous list within almost every year, so yeah, good reason to re-read the list!

  11. I decided to make a list of every single RPG that I'd recommend to the average RPG fan that isn't gonna overthink things and be real cynical, and just have a fun entertaining experience, and is able to just enjoy what something is.

  13. Like before, I've taken off the the extremely challenging games from this list though. It's why you won't see anything like Dark Souls or Dragon's Dogma on the list. Oh, and even if it's easier than the average roguelike/lite, I'm still not counting it.

  15. Also, keep in mind that I've stopped being pedantic about what I consider an rpg, if it's got enough rpg elements, I'm counting it. So this list is a lot bigger. That said, they will be sorted into honorable mentions:

  17. And keep in mind this is a recommendation list, not a games I love list, which is why games like Final Fantasy X are on this list.
