The level of difficulty is tremendously high, but the gameplay that allows you to overwhelm the impossible game with accurate method selection and pattern construction is exhilarating

There are now 4 stages added to the game. Stages 3 and 4 were reworked to be more dynamic, bosses are mostly untouched, although st4 boss is a bit harder now, and they now have dialogue. English translation has been improved since launch thanks to the community. Stage 5 is coming soon and I expect a very huge overhaul for it.

I'll just say this - there's already the Full Japanese doujin version of Akashicverse with all of the stages, and this is a Steam port with lots of different things to be added. There's already story dialogue, translated stuff (including unlockable documents), completely reworked st1 boss, new method (abilities) input option, and more. Stages 1-4 are available from the doujin version, with more to be added, which is mainly why it's in Early Access.

If you love shmups like Hellsinker., and since the steam version is so close to completion, it's definitely worth picking up even right now. Because there's already the full version, and because the developers are actively discussing any feedback, I don't think this port will stay in Early Access for long. The pandemic certainly impacts development speed, it's better to let the developers take their time so they stay healthy and deliver quality game without pressure.

I love shmups in general, even though I suck and rarely get 1cc.
But come on, ∀kashicverse is a wonderful game. The most innovative shmup game in years! With a fighting game style command system for special weapons, you can use melee attacks, homing lasers, a teleporter whose trail damages and even summon a blue eyes white dragon ship! The game is very complex, bullet hell and difficult, but you know what? That's the fun of the game, suffer trying and get immense satisfaction with each new challenge you overcome! Even if you don't like shmups the game worth it for the beautiful visuals, art and OST only!
Help ∀kashicverse and Hellsinker. and be happy!
Shmup fans unite up!

 Really nice presentation of this legendary shoot em up. If you like challenging and fast gameplay this is highly recommended, the price is a great value for the game as it is here.
