  24. Traits:
  25. True Neutral is a male Earth Pony. His fur is a burnt umber, eyes a pastel blue, and a slightly balding sandy mane. True Neutral is a -or rather was- a mathematics teacher at Canterlot Magic University. If one word would be used to describe Neutral, it would be boring. Like his intellect, his ability to cause students to fall asleep was unmatched by any other. However, True was content. He had a good job with fair pay, a fair-sized house (only inhabited by himself), and most of all: nothing was out of the ordinary. However, this changed one auspicious spring.
  26. It was another ordinary afternoon, just how True liked it. It was a weekend and he had already finished all the homework grading he had to do that day. Therefor, he decided to treat himself to one of his favorite recreational activities: weeding. True kept a very uniform (another of True's favorite words) garden, every plant being exactly the same distance apart, as a true mathematician's garden should. Whilst digging a hole for a new petunia, however, he noticed something strange (a word disliked by True). A metal object was sticking out of the disturbed dirt, seeming to be some precious metal. True quickly began to dig the object out, not wanting anything odd in his perfect garden. After several minutes, True Neutral had finally unearthed the foreign object: an ancient looking sword; A silver lined blade, golden hilt, encrusted with 7 diamonds across the hilt. To his surprise, that is when it began to glow.
  27. He tried to drop the sword from his hoof out of shock, but for some reason he could not let it go. A booming voice rang out from the sword, even disturbing his nearby neighbors,
  28. > "Many exaltations upon you and your family, stallion. You have unearthed a great and powerful entity: myself! I am Deccinilor, vanquisher of evil, slayer of tyrants, beacon of hope! You have been chosen to be my wielder by the strings of fate, and you shall be a hero that stories will be written of, and shall be a legend amongst pony kind!"
  29. True Neutral was appalled. This certainly wasn't normal, wasn't normal at all. He tried to argue that he was a simple math teacher, and that the sword had the wrong stallion. He was in no way an adventurer, nor did he want to be. Deccinilor would not have any of this, however, and soon True learned he was not fully in control of his body. His hooves refused to move until he swore to the sword that he would become it's hero. Thus, True Neutral grabbed the bare essentials and left begrudgingly to become a legend, his talking sword loudly narrating the entire way.
