  hanuel was born in a pretty well off family. her father was the owner of a busy cafe and her mother was a well known author. the woman was popular for her english novels the most. she grew up in a pretty big sibling group. two older brothers who were twins
(친해,chinhae & 친매,chinmae ), one older sister (천희,cheonhee) and a younger brother (정호,chungho). it was honestly amazing to her that her mother would actually go through all that pain for her ideal number of children. the girl grew up being exposed to two different languages, korean and english. she picked up both of the languages with ease and easily talked to her mother in both of them, at times mixing the sentence with korean and english. all her older siblings had their own ambition since at a young age while hanuel was conflicted. she was like a dolphin, per say. always jumping into something before going to another one. she was confused until she reached the freshman year of high school. she was sure on wanting to be an ice skater or an idol. both had some similar assets that made her love the idea of it being her career.
   throughout her childhood, she was in los angeles with her mother, older sister and little brother. there, she made quite many friends. her best friend though, was a malaysian boy by the name of faiz. the two were very close and still is to this day. he was the one who she often talked about her dreams to. she was never afraid to tell the boy anything and so was faiz. alas, her sophomore year was ending soon and she was told that they had to move back to korea. despite being devastated, she and her friends exchanged emails to chat with.
 soon coming to her junior year of high school, she decided to audition for rbw entertainment. she did it without her family's acknowledge so when she came home with exciting news, uhm, 'exciting news' wasn't taken very well by both her parents. they scolded her for doing something without their consent but the girl defended by saying; 'since mom didn't allow me to be an ice skater, i decided i wanted to be an idol! mom didn't opposed when i told her that.' which of course, put the nagging into a higher volume. it stopped when the brothers stepped in and reasoned with them. because of them, she was allowed to be a trainee and has been ever since.

-- the girl identifies herself as an ambivert. there are times where she's super energetic and bubbly, ready to go an adventure and interact with other people. she'd chat around and do shopping or anything honestly. it makes her feel warm in the inside whenever she's around her friends. of course, there are times where she'd rather be in her room and just read. though her family had point out how weird she is. she'd be introverted whenever out and extroverted once she comes home.
