► background/history:
	Growing up in Jeonju, Minwoon was a very good student but didn't have the best reputation, he began to act out and befriended the wrong people all through high school. After school he decided to clean up and pursue his real dream, becoming a singer. His mother was a fan of idols, and she introduced Minwoon to them. Minwoon said goodbye to his mother and father at a young age and headed off to audition for each and every company he could find, and was soon scouted by WJM. Not even a year after he began training, his mother called him from his hometown, pronouncing his father dead. Minwoon, having never been close with his father, wasn't terribly burdened but knew his mother would be, and gave up his dream for a short while to go home and support her. After a year of silence from the young man, he headed back to WJM to see if he could continue his training. He was told no numerous times, due to there already being an abundance of trainees and his abrupt wanting to leave, but after a reaudition was hesitantly allowed back in to continue his dream.

	Even at a young age Minwoon was a very positive and outgoing person. Now that he is older, he expanded that more and often becomes friends with everyone he meets because of his charismatic behavior. He is into skinship a lot, as he believes that is how you get closer to someone. Minwoon tries his best to stay on the good side of people, but he gets himself into unavoidable positions that he somehow messes up even more. He's a prankster and he was ridiculed at his highschool for playing many jokes on the teachers there. Minwoon is often late to training and some practices because he never gets enough sleep, according to him. Because of his younger brother, he enjoys taking care of people more than being taken care of. Minwoon is a very polite person until you mess with someone close to him, and in that situation is how he almost got expelled from his last school.
