Chapter One - Shallow Passion

Linnea is in the streets near Taliburn's core, intending to revisit a certain kitten that ignited compassion from her.
She is stopped by a well dressed man known as Big Terry, eager to get Linnea to work for him, he doesn't show any signs of accepting her disinterest.
He drives her to a mediocre hotel, and leaves her alone for a while so he may chat with certain folk. Linnea meets and speaks to one of Big Terry's longstanding 'employees'. She learns most girls he pick up do not stay in the job for long, and that Big Terry is seen to be wealthy regardless how true that may be.

Big Terry assigns a man for both of the two. A heavy balding fellow takes Linnea up to a hotel room on the third floor.
Linnea attempts to prod for more information regarding Big Terry and is shaken on the topic.
It is revealed quickly the man is an extreme sadist, that finds his ecstasy from the suffering of whoever he could get a room with. Given Linnea's durability, he ups the ante by placing a loaded revolver to Linnea's head, threatening to kill her over taking it like a champ.

With a casting of Caelestum, Linnea is able to cause a permanent upset within the man's mind, omitting and reinforcing against critical parts of his brain that led him to enjoy what he was doing to the extent.
With the minimal amount of success, he finds himself unable to continue further, telling Linnea to leave.
Linnea heads out, being stopped by Big Terry. She gives him back the advance pay he gave her, but he places his phone number in her care, hopeful that he could make a woman of Linnea yet.
