TIFU when going to the hospital for an MRI

This happened 7 years ago,

I have a medical history that im not telling you about right now, but ive been in and out of hospitals "a few times" in my life after some accidents and ive had a few MRI scans in the past and know how those procedures work. I told my doc i wanted an MRI of my head as ive started to feel pretty ill lately. Told him my symthoms and he agreed and ordered one.

After some time i finally got my letter that welcomed me to my scan apointment and at the set datd i drove to the hospital (like before, in another city) and sat down in the waiting area waiting to be called in. The clock ticked and my apointment time came up and i still heard nothing. Its common that there are a delay so i thought nothing about it but after 30 minutes i went to the info and asked if it would be much longer to wait as i had my car parked on a meter spot.

Erm....the nurse said, i dont see your name in my system, do you have the apointment letter with you?
Ofcourse i had and i handed it to her. She read it and started laughing.
Yup, you have an apointment for a scan today, but not at THIS hospital, you have to go back to the hospital in your own city because thats where you have the apointment.

She then called them up and told them that i did wrong and luckily for me they could do the scan the same day.

Needless to say that i felt a little embarrassed when i finally entered the RIGHT hospital. We all laughed and they did the scan.
They found the reason for me feeling ill.
No one could tell by looking at me and i didnt even know it myself but ive had a cerebral hemorrhage.


TL:DR Went to the hospital in the wrong city for my MRI scan
