The game is to find some new arena to practice their obscurantism.
There's enough complex terminology that they can raise doubt and raise the bar until the cows come home (and try to undermine the credibility of the other side by appearing to quibble meaningfully over the terms)

What it comes down to is the Egal side can only criticize the hereditarian's data, but not produce a reason to believe their worldview. They depend on you already believing it. While the hered can criticize the egal's data, criticize their criticism of his data, and provide reason to accept his worldview

I suspect they think we think it is purely genetic as per usual. These people dont understand what is being debated or the implications of their admissions. It also denotes a willful blindness to the prevailing zeitgeist of the day

It's always just saying the evidence isnt up to their standards (as they present no empirical or theoretical reason why their position is even tenable). Which is the appeal to ignorance on their part, so I am just returning the favor. If they think their position is true because we cant meet their star trek standards for how much we need to prove, then I can say my position is true because we at least have something

At the end of the day: how much hard evidence do you need, and how little hard evidence does the other side need to provide. Their position is treated as axiomatic so they just offer critiques of the controversial research by arguing it doesnt satisfy all their demands. But they never provide ex nihilo evidence for their position. Something which stands on its own and doesnt simply require you to already believe in it

And there isnt a good theoretical reason to believe in equality, evolution doesnt do equal and doesnt arbitrarily stop. It's ultimately an impossible position

Denials of IQ and race
It's funny because we dont need to perfectly connect IQ to intelligence, just show that it matters for well-being in our economies more than other "intelligence tests". All we need to make judgments for the moment

and race doesnt real (how this disputes the observation that blacks and whites are different 'somethings' even if you dislike race is beyond me)

It is missed (by those who cite this) that the usefulness of heritability is in comparisons between organisms or groups of them

It is interpreted as a silver bullet because denialists think it allows them to ignore categories of evidence
