  1. -Tilly- : -:- Tilly sat on the semi-busted second-hand couch that she and Theo had found whilst shopping at the thrift a few months ago, holding up a bowl of kettle-corn microwave popcorn to her chest for warmth. "Theeeooooo" she sang merrily from the living room, where white twinkle-lights (also thrifted) twinkled through hand-made paper lanterns in hues of white, gold and blue. They had a tree, too, but that was a bit less...twinkly. One of the lights was out, which had only been discovered *after* the pair had dragged the tree up three flights of stairs and (literally) hauled out the holly to decorate their two-bedroom loft for the Holidays. As it usually went, one wanted to stay in and the other wanted to go buy new lights for the tree. Presently, a pile of half-checked twinkle lights sat in Tilly's lap, waiting to be checked as a claymation holiday special brightened the screen of their out-of-place *new* television on the wall above macrame hangings and a light-oak shelf supporting -c

  3. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : still played at the edges of his mouth as he felt his brothers arm slip from his, their hands coming together to intertwine fingers the way couples often did. As Jason lead his brother towards the table he held his head high, a grin in place on his face. His red eyes burned with mischief. :: We charge a fiver for every punch thrown and anything else is fair game. Help us out, we could use a place to stay tonight and the rates aren't cheap. :: Dwayne held back a little, <c>
  4.
  5. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : <c> choosing to remain quiet for the time being. They had done this rutine so many times and usually got what they wanted, but then there was also that time Jay had picked a fight with a demi-god. That one ended ..badly would be putting it lightly. :: Come on, the bouncer wouldn't pay up so we're still flat out. You pay me to hit him and we both get a room to stay in for the night. It'll be great. :: He gave a quick nod, still grinning at Merlyn. ::-
  6.
  7. -Tilly- : pillar candles in various colors representing protection, peace, and trust. Unlike most twins, who fought to identify as separate individuals with issues in doing so, Tilly and Theo preferred the security of one another's presence. There was rarely anything the pair did separately, save for the obvious-- showering, sleeping, or other personal behaviors. As much as they loved one anothers' company, they also heavily respected one another's personal space. While Theo was untidy and his things sprawled out of his room and throughout the apartment, Tilly was neat and orderly. Even now, it kind of bothered her that his laundry (even if clean) was all over the place. The gentle witch craned her neck to check behind the couch, into the kitchen. Theo hated kettle corn popcorn, and had opted to make his own. Obviously the better cook, he was probably doctoring it up as she waited. "It's gonna start!" she warned, wiggling slippered toes. -:-

  9. Mєяlγη : .: There was a little head tilt, she even squinted a little. //What?// For a moment the angel was acting like an angel, not understanding what it was they were asking at first and then it clicked. //Oh.. Alright.// The angel was going to agree, and so after a moment she dug into the pockets of her coat, they were deep pockets that were probably bigger on the inside. No, it was really just angel magic. Though, Merlyn still hadn't had the chance to show off her skills or much of her oddities yet. So she set some cash on the table and slid it towards them. //Have at it then.// She wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but she couldn't look to Fabienne for advice, simply for the fact she'd been busy with texting her uncle. Fortunately, Malcolm's gifts didn't work through text. They had to be in the same room, and he had to speak to her. Maybe one day the angel could get over whatever it was that truly bothered her about him, this was unlikely though considering it had to do with Fabi

  17. -Theodore- : .< The lilting voice of Tilly from the adjacent room had Theo grimace. “Do you want me to make my special popcorn or not?” He yelled back at her. A mess usually followed the twin warder in his kitchen creations, but damn was his popcorn good. At least he thought so, his sister had yet to complain about it. Buttery glazed kernels with cheese that melted into the heat of the microwaved popcorn. Indeed, compared to Tilly – Theo was the opposite. He left a tornado, she was the cleanup crew. BUT! In his defense, he did clean up when it was his turn; he wasn’t a complete slob. However, the opposite could be said right now upon him leaving opened cheese wrappers upon the counter. He’d get to that later. Wool covered feet made their way into the living room, their venture only stopping when Theo plopped himself upon the couch causing the string of lights within Tilly’s lap to scatter. “ – I keep tellin’ : c :
  18.
  19. Mєяlγη : .: more than anything else. //Id be careful doing much in this town..// she had to give a bit of advice there, obviously she could control free will. Despite being rebelled it was a cardinal rule that she couldn't break. Sure, she could hypnotize people but that was different *no it isnt.* //I suppose you ought to have a go at the bouncer again.// | Fabienne was momentarily distracted, her head turning and those oddly colored eyes focused on the twins. A brow raised, her nose twitched just slightly "Uh." That was interesting, curiously she looked between the three of them. "Lyn." she chided the angel, "what.. what are you doing there?" she asked Merlyn before gazing over at the twins a moment. The text back from her uncle had her sighing. Well, hes on his way. This already had Fabienne rubbing her neck in an absent minded manner. :.

  21. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : -:: It was unusual for a customer to pay fully up front, but he'd take what he could get. Jason's hand reached out to grab the cash from the table when Dwayne's fist came into sight split seconds before it collided with his twin's head. The impact was hard enough to send Jay's head whipping to the side, a spatter of blood bursting from a split open lip.:: "I'll take that thanks!" :: Jason was too momentarily dazed to argue and as his vision stopped swimming and the idea of >

  23. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : taking down the bouncer sank through the fog he turned, right hand raised, and swung for his brother. Of course, Dwayne was expecting this and simply ducked.:: "That has never worked. Why do you insist on trying every time?" :: He chuckled, nodding back at Merlyn.:: "Thanks again, sweetheart." :: And with that he grabbed hold of his brother and pulled him in the direction of the club. They had unfinished business to attend to. Jason stumbled at first, but kept up, snorting >
  24.
  25. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : his blood back up into his nose as he went. Of course, none of this was necessary considering both twins could control their own blood and where or how it moved. It was a display and it was all for the show. As they approached the club the bouncer rose back to his feet and punched a closed fist into his other open palm. "Back for more? Happy to oblige." This time Jason hung back, letting his brother have some fun, and fun would be had. Dwayne paced forwards, his stance >

  27. Moяιαяτγ : .: It has been years, at least 50 some odd years since he'd last laid eyes on his niece. A little longer since he was able to sink his fangs into her. The truth of it was, he had her scent and once he had her scent, it was for life. It didn't matter how many times she'd changed her face, how many times her body had renewed itself. *He has no idea about this latest time though, so won't he be surprised?* Malcolm remembered the property she was talking about, he remembered <C>
  28.
  29. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : relaxed and as if he had no cares in the world. :: "Go on then, tiny. Let's see how well do you against me." :: This enraged the bouncer and he barrelled towards Dwayne, a fist aimed for the vampire's head. Dwayne didn't bother blocking and as the impact was made his head burst apart into tiny droplets of blood. His body remained perfectly still, the bouncers fist having come to a stop as a look of horror drained the colour from the man's face. Had he just murdered someone? >

  31. -Theodore- : you!” he said, the crossness in his tenor evident, “I can just go to the store down the street and get a new pair.” Obviously, that was the easy way out, but Theo’s sister liked to economize. Their apartment was scattered with thrifted items from all over. Admittedly, though, Theo was also a culprit in wanting to save by constantly turning out the lights … much to Tilly’s dismay [sometimes he just did it to piss her off.] He’d gone about making his own popcorn but had also made his sister’s favorite too. Marshmallow popcorn with melted M&M’s on top. Bleeeh. The thought made his tongue recoil. He didn’t like sweet stuff – she did. And as opposite as they were, that didn’t disrupt the synergy of their spellcasting. As Theo made himself comfortable upon the lumpy couch, he grabbed himself a blanket – tossing the other side to his sibling as the pair of them nested. The glare of the T.V. now coming : c :
  32.
  33. Moяιαяτγ : .: where it was. There was one thing he was sure about: He was not at all jazzed about running into that feather-head, that angel had been hard to be near. Often he was walking on eggshells in the hopes that Muriel wouldn't smite him, he was quite honestly surprised she hasn't. He knew the angel's name and that was probably part of the reasoning there, they had never had good blood to start with. He expelled her from his body and he knew that she could have been cross about <C>
  34.
  35. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : Jason's head tipped forward as he watched, his grin warping into a smirk. Dwayne was not dead, nor was he even harmed. This was exactly how things usually went. The blood coating the bouncers arm began to move and slither further and further up towards his shoulder. :: Aaaaand... queue panic. ::A shriek came from the burly man as his neck was now surrounded in blood. Dwayne was in complete control and to demonstrate that point, the ring of blood around the bouncers neck >
  36.
  37. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : began to restrict the flow of air to his lungs. Jay let this continue until the man had begun to turn a weird shade of blue before he cleared his throat. The blood instantly dropped away from the man's neck, flinging back towards the stump that had been Dwayne's head and there it solidified in seconds, the evil glint in the vampire's red orbs very visible. :: "Go on then, go cry to mommy. Tell her how two kids beat you up for being mean." :: He glanced aside at his twin who >

  39. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : had now joined him. Jason leant over and planted a small kiss onto his twin's cheek. :: Beautifully done, as always, Pet.
  40.
  41. Moяιαяτγ : .: that. Still, he did respect the odd creature. *The multi-dimensional wavelength of celestial intent.* He was at least cordial enough to stay out of her way and when he visited with Fabienne, Muriel had extended enough trust to him to leave him alone with her ward. *She was his niece first damn it.* Though, the vampire had no means of taking her back or fighting with the seraph, besides he couldn't do that to Fabienne. The two were bonded pair and even he knew that, it <C>
  42.
  43. Moяιαяτγ : .: would drive a wedge between him and his niece anyhow. His tongue ran over his fangs for a moment, he was going to drive there or at least this was his intention. Never in a rush, his niece wasn't going anywhere and if she did? He would find her and quite easily enough. Piercing blue eyes focused on the road ahead of him, thinking quietly. He preferred a quiet drive, unless Fabi was in the car he did not play any music. *Which, she's never been in his car, now that he thinks
  44.
  45. -Theodore- : The glare of the T.V. now silhouetting their frames as they cast their attention to the clay animated holiday special. “I never … quite got why Rudolph just didn’t peace out on Santa.” He said out of the blue, stuffing popcorn into his mouth afterward. Tilly & Theo were alike in the sense that they downplayed their family’s connection. They weren’t in a bad relationship with their parents but coming from such a prominent stock had its … unwanted scenarios. Which was why the twins preferring this humbler lifestyle since moving to Portree, Scotland – where thrifting had become second nature and saving money was considered top tier. “You going to meet up with Jenny tomorrow? If so, I’m coming with. I got a few things to grab tomorrow in town.” Yeah, like new lights. >. [e]
  46.
  47. Moяιαяτγ : .: on that. It would surprise her likely, to find out what he sustained himself on without her, sometimes a human here and there, other times out of a bag or an animal *but never a rabbit, his niece would murder him and he'd let her.* :.

  51. -Tilly- : -:- As the string of lights launched into the air, they flickered for just a moment, and then went out again promptly on their collision with the floor. Tilly's eyes became tiny darts as she pressed her lips together in an expression of mock-contempt that near matched Theo's as he chided her about buying new ones. "I know we *can*, but it's just as easy to make these ones work. Plus, it's snowing like mad out there." Which would have been a fair point, if it really was. A few flurries justified propping her feet up and becoming one with the dusty-colored plain couch in front of the television. It was winter break, after all! All those classes had really taken the piss out of her. A content homebody had all the tenacity in the world for testing each light on the string one at a time to save a dime, thank-you-very-much. Anyway, if it wasn't hard, was it even cool at all? Her glowering passed as Theo handed over the bowl of decadent savory-sweet pop-corn-a-palooza. "Yesssss" she -c

Whilst Theo found a comfy hole in the couch to burrow his butt into, Tilly leaned to the other side of the sofa and propped her feet up beside him, hiding her toes behind the small of his back. In slippers, the frozen toes wouldn't chill him. Tucked in like that, they'd hopefully warm up soon. That was another part of their savings program-- the thermostat was kept at a somewhat livable 68F. When it got real cold, they could light the fireplace. Once comfy, she dove into her own bowl of popcorn, sighing as a pleased expression melted her features. "Ohhh, you even used the peanut M&Ms. Beeeeessssst." she affirmed, fingers covered in chocolate and marshmallow. "Ehh, I mean he was still pretty young and impressionable. I can see it. Plus his parents and every other living creature around him treated Santa like a God. Brainwashing. " she concluded, lovat hues wide for a minute as she mimicked -c
  56.
  57. -Tilly- : the glazed-over expression of someone zoning in on their faith before the threw a candy-coated hand into the air "Praise be!" she joked, laughing at her own joke before the words even made it out of her mouth. "Uh..." she let her hand fall down to her bowl of popcorn, fingers milling through the top thoughtfully. "I'm glad you said something, I almost totally forgot about that." she admitted, deciding she'd text Jenny as soon as her hands were clean. "Don't buy more lights!" she warned, shooting a suspicious glance at him from the side. "These ones are perfectly good! They just need a little help." she talked about them like they were some kind of wounded animal. She wouldn't give up on them. Not yet. Not til they zapped her or caught on fire-- which wasn't unlikely. -:-
  58.
  59. Mєяlγη : .: Merlyn had no idea the repercussions of what she just done, though it was quite possible the angel had just gotten bored. Which, if angel's could get bored that would probably be kind of bad. Still, she waited to see what would happen next, but it wasn't like the angel couldn't feel what was going on. Many things could be heard, more things could be smelled. Though in this case she could feel the shift of emotions, the great shift of emotions caused her to lift her head and turn to gaze towards the club again. In lore, in the books that the human's kept record of her kind, her siblings, she was called Muriel. Her name means *Perfume of God.* Her role? She is the patron saint of empathic, the angel of emotional harmony and intuition. The lore says she is an arch angel, the lore got that part wrong. She was very much a seraphim, and at the moment she couldn't quite decide if she'd done good or bad just then. It could have been any number of things that drove the angel to agree <C>
  60.
  61. -Theodore- : .< Gazing across the cheesy bowl of popcorn, Theo opened his mouth to childishly stick his tongue out at her. “They look weird. Just lemme get new ones.” They’d gotten a mini light bulb pack earlier that day but watching his sibling meticulously go through every bulb was driving Theo up the wall. But, thankfully, it didn’t last long because his sudden impact into the uneven couch had caused them to scatter. Heh. Blankets sorted. Popcorn ready. With a tip of his head, Theo reflected the grin of his twin and he slouched more snugly into the furniture. He didn’t mind it when she came to slip her tiny feet behind his back. In fact, he ended up stretching his legs clear across the couch on the opposite side; tucking himself into the fleece blanket’s warmth. The pair of them had grown used to the slight coldness of their apartment, and neither had a problem with it. Coming from such a prominent family – one : c :
  62.
  63. Mєяlγη : .: to such a thing, likely that she was 'mad.' at Fabienne for calling Malcolm here, if angels could be vindictive. Well, she probably could and is. There was silence as she reached out towards Fabi and set her pale hand on top of the girl's head, giving her a little head rub. For a moment she'd massage the base of her ear and then she drew her hand back. If she was mad, it wasn't going to be for long. She watched what happened next, though the angel had been seemingly unaffected by what she saw. | Fabienne was pretty confused just now, and surprised too. For the life of her she couldn't figure out what just happened "I hope that doesn't come back to bite us." she muttered to Merlyn. Deep maroon eyes only studied the seraph closely for a moment, quietly and anxiously awaiting her Uncle. It would be a few hours likely, so she wouldn't have to worry about anything until later. Still, she could smell blood in the air, her ears seemingly folding downwards again. She looked away after

  77. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : -:: For a moment the bouncer gasped in lungful after lungful of air before he scrambled round and vanished into the club, slamming closed the doors behind him. He knew when he was beaten. Jason and Dwayne had both lost interest in him by then, having discovered each other. With the smell of freshly spilled blood already on Jay's lips, Dwayne was tempted to bite him there and then, but he had noticed the woman from earlier was staring at them. It didn't bother him, but he >

  79. -Theodore- : may have assumed that the twins were spoiled run-of-the-mill brats. Yet, that wasn’t the case. They scrimped and saved and paid for their own tuition since they’d moved to Portree. What had Theo’s attention then was when his sibling praised him for adding peanut M&Ms. “At least you can actually tell what color those M&Ms are when compared to those lights over there.” Heartily, he chuckled and stuffed another handful into his mouth, tongue running along his forefinger when some cheese got there. As Tilly went about texting her friend Jenny, Theo was quick to respond, and countered with, “ – you don’t know what I’m getting tomorrow anyway.” And now, once they were a few mins into the film, Theo laughed, “They treated him like crap, and yet he still helped them. I guess that’s what they mean by turning the other cheek or … deer face.” What held the male twin’s attention next was when his sibling went on about the lights like they were wounded, “Shall I wheel them to the dumpster then? : c

  83. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : worried about how his twin would react. A snowflake chose that moment to settle onto the end of his nose and his brother was quick to kiss it away, causing Dwayne to make his mind up there and then as to what he wanted. He caught Jay's hand up into his and turned to lead him back up the street and towards the Inn where they had been spending the daylight hours sleeping.:: "Come on, you. It'll be morning soon. We should get inside." :: A groan came from the younger twin as >

  85. The ƁĿǪǪƉ Twins : his mind appeared to be working and then suddenly his eyes lit up.:: Promise? :: It was a question in reply to an image he had just received through their bond and Dwayne's quick nod brought a childlike grin to Jason's face. His pace quickened, Dwayne's picking up as well as they made for the Inn. Once inside they disappeared quickly up to their room, and the rest is up to your imagination, if you think along those lines. ::-
  86.
  87. -Theodore- : Because that’s where they are going tomorrow morning if you can’t make them work tonight.” It was a lighthearted tease on his part, and Theo left Tilly alone after that. He wasn’t by any means a jerk, but he liked to clown around with his sibling whenever the opportunity presented itself. He actually was like that with many of their friends. Though, sadly – this evening they’d forced to cease all socializing due to the snowstorm taking place outside. Theo supposed it wasn’t all that bad. >. [e]
