  1. Casual Streams: I've been having a ridiculous amount of fun with these. Dark Souls 1 was fantastic, Dark Souls 2 pretty meh, but Wind Waker has been some of the most fun and pleasantness I've had streaming in ages. Really want to thank the regulars who show up like Supreme, Sumi, Patty, Twig, Rowena, Casusby, etc. for really making my days a lot more enjoyable and nice. I feel like the hiatus reinvigorated me and I go into streams with a lot more easy energy and don't feel drained keeping up conversations or me doing/saying silly shit. Races are boatloads of fun I really hope I get to do more in the coming weeks with collective buds now that AGDQ is over, we were just getting started doing them again when AGDQ disrupted things.

  3. Speed Streams: I did a rust bucket race of Links Awakening DX on Gamecube. It kicked my ass, I didn't remember the route and having not played the game in almost a year to doing a run on an analogue stick was humbling, which is what was to be expected, it was still a really fun experience and seeing old faces in chat I haven't seen since last time I streamed that game was nice. Despite that though I was extremely surprised at how easy it was to get used to the control scheme in a short amount of time and I didn't feel has hindered playing the finer points of the run (menu navigation) as I thought I would be, so I think gamecube controller is very likely the way to go. I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks derusting and learning new tech because I have friends (iateyourpie and andy) who are learning LADX for their 12 hour challenge and it would thrill me to be able to help out my good buds learning my speedgame, so I plan to at least be familiar with the new route/run by that point, although I wouldn't predict a state of derust or competency by then. Like I said before, the plan is to get familiar with the Gamecube/Non-Emu platform and make a submission for SGDQ.

  5. When DKC gets figured out (it might be already?) I'll go back to that as well for a sub 35 (or 34 depending on the tech?). Really nice comfy speedgame, I'm looking forward to that. I'm kicking around the idea of rebooting C&C Streams (although certainly not as a weekly) and Secret of Mana speedruns.

  7. 12 hour challenge: I didn't formally enter it but my 12 hour challenge game will be Metal Gear Solid or Metal Gear Solid 3. I'm not sure which game I like better as a speedrun yet; I haven't done my full research but I get the impression that mgs3 is a lot more in the vein of "very optimized/planned fast lets play" than a tech-filled speedrun. MGS1 has tech and significant skips and although I like mgs3 more as a game I think mgs1 is more in the way of what I like in a speedrun game (comfy factor, low skill floor with high skill ceiling, the aesthetic, etc).

  9. The Leon P Stream: This one is a bit more out there but I want to stream a lot and try to grow my stream in 2016 and hopefully get the whole partner thing going. I've got a lot of motivation and drive to make that happen right now and have a lot of fun plans and maybe plop out the webcam and the whole 9 yards if my situation later this year allows it but this might be another thing that peters out as I lose the enthusiasm to stream the more I stream (streaming is draining). Plan is to do casual/blind games a bunch while speedrun streams and to follow that kind of loose format. We'll see though, idk. So far thought streaming has been a lot more fun and generally enriching than what I usually do in those off hours (single player gaming not on stream while watching tv shows).
