for ps2 source:
check vdubstuff, but dont use megui, use cli x264

for psp stuff:
use the avisynth, ffms and smoothlevels
(never use directshowsource for anything ever)
--colorprim --transfer and --colormatrix  all to smpte170m
(above applies for any SD source)


for HD PC stuff:
--colorprim --transfer and --colormatrix  to bt709

Also check smoothlevels for other relevant options.
